4 guests' feedbackIt rained the whole weekend, but the unit was well equipped with fire wood and a classic selection of dvd's. WiFi was available and quick enough for streaming. Everything in town is within walking distance, even in the rain.
The house is in two halves, but privacy wasn't an issue and we had full use of the shared balcony. The unit is relatively small but everything you need is available. The bathroom is really small and it isn't ideal that the doors don't close securely and being right at the top of the stairs. It was a problem that there is only one towel rack. For a short stay, the unit is perfect, but self-catering is limited which is easily overcome with the availability of restaurants within walking distance down the road. The uncapped WiFi was a definite plus! Haenertsburg is stunning and worth the visit.
We had a great stay, the location is wonderful and you can easily walk to the shops and restaurants. The unit is somewhat cramped, with a very steep staircase that is uncomfortable to climb and can be quite dangerous. The toilet door cannot be locked either. However, we had a very nice stay.
The photos make the place look more spacious, because I was under the illusion that the house as in the photos is available in its entirety. But the house is divided in two, the stairs going up are terribly steep, there is also no safe stair railing. The bathroom is on the upper deck with the rooms on either side. The bathroom is the only bathroom and the doors don't close, when you come out of the bathroom you are right at the top of the stairs. It is a self-catering unit, there was so little coffee and tea and no milk available. The furniture in the living room is impractical. It's cramped because the living room and dining room furniture are all together in the room. The kitchen is about one meter by one meter.
