HoneyDew Cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests and contains 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and lounge. Each bedroom contains a comfortable king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds, and the sleeper couch is situated in the lounge. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with basic cutlery, crockery and cookware, fridge and a 5-plate gas stove with an electric oven. The cosy lounge contains a double sleeper couch, and an indoor fireplace to make the winter evenings a dreamy experience. The living area opens to a covered deck and extended living space, with a couch and outdoor dining furniture. Outdoor braai facilities are available with grid and tongs. Firewood is available to purchase.

We were warmly received. The accommodation is tastefully and comfortably furnished with everything needed. The fireplace in particular was a winner. The view of the mountains was beautiful.

The cottage has everything you need. It's perfectly located for someone who just wants to connect with nature. Lovely hiking trails and wonderful hosts, Doreen, who make you feel very comfortable. Perfect for dogs.
It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Everything was perfect and clean, comfortable and very smartly planned! We would definitely go again and highly recommend HoneyDew Cottage! The best was no TV and cell phone signal so we could really switch off!
If you want to get away from cell phones and traffic, Honeydew is your place. Most beautiful mountain views and neat, modern facilities. Would recommend it.
We had a fantastic three-night stay at Honeydew. Google Maps is misleading as it takes you to a premature dirt road right, but follow the directions from Doreen and you'll be fine. Montague has a lovely bakery and Saturday morning market by the NGK.
Out of the city, disconnected from everything and connecting to nature and complete solace was everything we needed and more. Well-equipped cottage with ample space inside and out.
The hostess was very nice and provided us with all information about the accommodation. The house is beautifully furnished with top quality furniture, bedding and towels. There is everything you need for a quiet and peaceful escape from the city. The outside tables even had nice tablecloths on them. The large porch with hammocks is definitely a winner and the teenagers made themselves at home there. If the weather had been better, we could also have a nice barbecue by the outdoor fire place and stargaze. The fireplace is also lovely. There are also fun things to do in the area. My only gripe is that we didn't expect there to be another house so close to the cottage, where the hostess's brother lives. They are very nice, but we could literally listen to their choice of music together all Saturday, when we would rather hear the birds and silence. They also have a dear dog who visited us all weekend. The kids loved him, but if you bring your own dogs, be aware that you will still have a permanent four-legged friend on site.
We had so much fun hanging out on the stoep, reading a book, completing sudokus and just sitting and watching the ties. The fireplace makes the whole house wonderfully warm in the cold winter evenings. Our hostess made us feel so welcome with her visit and delicious muffins. Truly a place to visit!

Honey Dew Cottage is well furnished with a lovely fireplace and feather duvets for the cold winter nights. Lovely front porch with a view of the mountains and 2 hammocks are a bonus. Safe cycling and playground for small children.

The farm is very quiet with lots of dirt roads to walk along and take in nature. The nature view from the stoep is beautiful. The cottage is a lot nicer than in the photos. It is bure bliss to lie in the hammock and appreciate the peace and quiet in the nature.
After riding the Burgers Pass many times before, we stayed close to its foot in the Keisie Valley for the first time. It is a beautiful area (especially after the recent rain) and the view of the Langeberge is delightful. We really enjoyed the cottage with its facilities. It's still fairly new and the porch with its hammocks and "nice hangout table" is well used. The children also had a great time playing on the lawn in front of the house.
The stars are so beautiful to look at. Very friendly. We enjoyed it very much!

The location is incredibly beautiful and you really feel like you are hiding in the natural beauty. The cottage is well appointed and perfect for a weekend getaway. We can't wait to go back!
