The Hotel@secunda is my go to place in this area, always clean and quiet and well maintained. The staff are always attentive and friendly and go out of their way to accommodate things like a very late arrival.
We were pleasantly surprised with Hotel @ Secunda. We literally only needed a place to stay the night but the quality of the facilities exceeded our expectations.
Room was neat. Very helpful at reception. Breakfast delicious we enjoyed at Crawdaddy's. Would definitely recommend Hotel@Secunda.

Service was good, breakfast was delicious, the air conditioning did not work and the water pressure in the taps is very weak. There is room for improvement, security is recommended. Other guests do not pay attention to rules, fellow guests made noise after 00:00 in the evening.

Positive criticism if I may put it this way: Difficulty doing my hair because the wall plug was too far from the mirror. The cleaning service was not up to standard. I had to ask for the trash to be emptied. Thursday's dirty dishes were still in the room when I came to my room after work on Friday night. The patio key on my key ring didn't work, had to ask for another key. Could do with extra floor mat, just one to use for shower/bath is a bit small. The breakfast service the first 2 mornings was great. The last three do not. Saturday morning I had to drive to another site to eat and had to pay extra. Please warn guests about bad water pressure. Furthermore, it was a good choice for my stay.

A rare find in a small town. The hotel is modern, neat and extremely good value for money. The staff are just incredible on your arrival and the rooms have everything you may need for a weekend getaway.

My husband and I were looking for a romantic night away not far from home and tried Hotel @ Secunda for the first time and will definitely use them again.
The hotel was great but we only travel to Secunda to visit friends that live there. Everywhere we went and all the services we used we found the people to be bright, friendly and charming.
Reception was friendly and the room was available in time. The room was neat, clean and the beds were comfortable.
Excellent place to stay, very nice touch with the air conditioned rooms! Crawdaddy's is less than 100 steps from the room which is also a plus. We asked for a corkscrew and they did not have one (which is a bit weird for a 'hotel') ... All in all I'd definitely stay there again.

What a pleasant surprise, the place is very clean, very tidy, reception was good. The on-site restaurant is nice and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend the place to anyone. Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean.
Unfortunately, the room in the hotel was not at all practically furnished. The sink is in front of a window. There is no mirror in front of the sink? It makes no sense at all. There are also no towel rails. I had to hang towels over the shower door and bathroom door. There isn't a trash can. I would also suggest that you get rugs to sit on the tile floor. It is not nice to walk barefoot on tiles. There were also no mats in the bathroom. The breakfast was also disappointing. It is not worth R75. They toast the bread before the meal begins. So the bread is cold and soft. The one toaster they do have is falling apart. Some of the foods like the bacon were also cold. I also couldn't access their WiFi.
Got some great sleep! Rooms are clean and the restaurant on the premises was very nice and convenient.
We visit Secunda on a regular basis and this is our new stopover from now on. It is very clean and tidy and definitely value for money - with children over 12 it always costs a fortune to stay in places, but they accommodated us with a good price for the kiddies. Crawdaddys restaurant is a minute's walk from the hotel which makes it unnecessary to drive in the evening if you want to eat out. Their food and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for an unforgettable stay. Even our teenagers enjoyed it. Definitely see the place again soon.
