There were a lot of activities to do.
Hotel is correctly rated 3-star, definitely not 4-star. It needs more maintenance as little things are not cared for, examples: a general re-paint of the buildings would be nice, some tiles missing on steps, shower heads gone, shower door sealing strip compromised, bathroom extractor fan very noisy, only one drinking glass in the room, and DSTV options limited. More attention to detail would make Hotel Savoy in Mthatha more attractive.
The hotel is located right next to a variety of shops and eateries.

My booking, for some reason, could not be found. But, it was sorted out within a couple of minutes and I was quickly in my room, which you park right in front of. Breakfast was good. Service from ALL staff was great: friendly and helpful!
I made a request for a hairdryer and one was promised but never delivered. I was forced to stay another night as my flight was canceled. The staff was very helpful, but I had no milk in my room.
Safe, tidy overnight stay with nice restaurants and delicious breakfast. Stop and go.
No booking when we arrived. Manager had already left for the day. Two ladies on duty didn't know what to do. After a while they made a new booking. Fourth room they offered were clean and beds were made, still no towels and TV remote. The music in the parking area and the Executive Suites bothered us late in the evening. Not a nice experience.
It was extremely clean, secure parking and everything you need is there for a great night's rest. Can definitely recommend Hotel Savoy.
Just a pity there were no towels in the bathroom and we had to wait a long time for them. Also only one drinking glass.
The room is neat and well furnished and meals can be found at Mike's Kitchen just next door. Free WiFi is available.
I had to call the security all the time to gain access to the hotel, because the cards are faulty.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Savoy.
