33 guests' feedbackHotel is very well located and facilities are excellent. Breakfast was also of high quality.
Thank you for a nice stay.
Staying at Hotel Sky is always an experience, have stayed there before and will again.
Very beautiful, loved their breakfast with views.
We had a wonderful stay with the most beautiful view of Table Mountain and the Waterfront.
I had an amazing time at the accommodation. The quality of services provided was brilliant and the staff did a very good job.
Relaxing, home away from home.
The hotel is very neat, staff very friendly, next to V&A Waterfront, breakfast was great.
It was incredibly nice, very nice view of the sea.
We had a very nice stay. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was also very friendly and happy to help with anything. Very nice stay.
Nice stay. All in one and the most beautiful decor. Cozy and private.
The buffet breakfast serves all the guests. It's too full. They should have more restaurants to accommodate all the guests. You wait a long time for elevators. The hotel app did not work. It couldn't be downloaded on Google Play because it's an older version. It's not updated.
It was good, but I wish the cocktails special was served at the lounge. But it was lovely.
Very good location, opposite CTICC, and easy to get to the waterfront or Cape Town Stadium. Very nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the Cape, something special! But here comes the part that bothered me a bit. Mind you, because I stay a lot for work in hotels around the world, I'm being critical. I booked through you and paid in full. The day before my reservation I received an email from the hotel to say I could check in online and save time at the hotel's reception. It sounded like a good plan and I filled out the online form. But then it takes you to a page where you had to pay an amount of R450 for some reason. Luckily I didn't pay it then. I called the hotel and they confirmed that there is no outstanding amount on my account, and it is not necessary for me to do the online check in. But another person might make the mistake and make the payment. So the system is a bit messed up. They have removed the phones in the rooms and replaced them with an app that you have to download. In the room there is information that says you have to scan the QR code they give you and then download the app in order to be able to communicate with reception or get room service, as well as some other things they mentioned. However, the reality is that the app does not work very easily. After 40 minutes of struggle, I finally went down to reception to ask for help, but was informed that there is no room service available in any case, I just have to go to the restaurant myself and order something and with that then go to the room. That's all well and good if it's your model, but then don't advertise it in the room, I could have saved 40 min. I'm still not sure if the app actually works or not. The hotel was very full because of the Springbok rugby match in the city that weekend. At breakfast, you sign in at the dining hall, but afterwards they don't take you to a specific table, they mark your name and then you go find a seat yourself. The problem is that they let more people in at a time than there are tables open, with the result that people take each other's tables when they get up to scoop food. This caused some chaos and unhappiness among people as one can understand. I will definitely visit the restaurant again because of its nice view. Our room was fit for purpose with a very nice view of Table Mountain. If I were to stay there again due to the hotel's location, I might not eat breakfast there again. Because there is no fridge in the room, as well as no room service, this does not make the hotel ideal for a romantic evening with your husband/wife.
Very central location near the Waterfront.
Reservation was not on their reservation list, however, staff are very friendly and effective in immediately making guests feel welcome. Hotel Sky is very centrally located and would recommend it for weekend travellers.
One of the best hotel stays I have had. Would definitely make the trek again to stay in Hotel Sky CT. Amazing service, no delays with check-in or checkout. Amenities were well described.
It was value for my money and the place itself is very nice. Went for my sister's birthday and it was fantastic.
I was very relaxed. Enjoyed the breathtaking views.
Everything was nice.
Stayed one night at Hotel Sky. The room for one night was perfect. Had everything we needed. As this type of room is designed for stay-overs, the size was compact. No clothes storage or hanging space. But, again, that is the design of the room. On the same floor, they have an airport lounge facility. Self-check-in facilities are available. The hotel has a definite technological feel to it, and they do themselves justice in this regard.
See stars.
This is not the perfect place to stay if you're travelling with small children. The rooms are tiny. We stayed in a Standard room, but payed more to stay in a Ocean room, but really not bigger than a Standard room and not worth paying more.
Breakfast was good quality. Coffee machines on the floor are convenient.
The shower spilled water on the floor, and when you shower the hot water goes away and comes back again. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay and will definitely stay there again.
Great location. Staff need customer service training.
When we got to the Hotel, we got assigned to our room. When we entered, it looked like the previous guest was still there as there were still some of his belongings. A half-full bottle of water, papers, a razor and scrunchie still in the shower. I phoned reception and then someone came to check what is going on. They then gave us another room, which was nice and we were happy. We went up to the bar/restaurant and ordered a bar platter. The droëwors was so hard, my husband broke off a piece of his tooth. I am sad that we didn't get the same great experience as we did the first time we stayed at Sky.
Can only improve with their billing system I was asked about the payment of the booked room according to them the rack was not paid.
Wish it could've come with breakfast included, but in general, the stay was amazing. Service is on point. Clean. No hassles at all.
We arrived before check in time and attended by a very friendly person who warmly assisted us and kept our luggages. In principal the staff was very friendly and provided any assistance we asked for. We will surely use it again.
The lifts were a headache! Also the parking is too far to walk with luggage. The buffet breakfast was delicious.
Not soon again, if you leave anything behind. Pretend they never existed. Just 2 hours after I checked out, I realized I left something behind. After a back and forth they still had no answers for me, telling me different stories.
Not impressed with this hotel at all and will not stay there again. Even though we had paid in full they had insisted that we pay an additional R144 or else we could not get our room key. When we questioned this afterward they admitted it was a mistake but then we had to fill in forms and supply IDs just to get the refund on the mistake they made. Luckily we did book through the website and they absolutely rocked their service and sorted the issue out for us.
