We enjoyed a nice late afternoon walk on this picturesque farm.
Spectacular hike on the farm. Relatively well marked.
My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay in the Tarentaal Cottage. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were perfect for braaing and keeping warm during the cold nights. A nearby dam provided a great swimming spot to be refreshed on the hot days. We also had some fun playing through the putt-putt course and exploring some of the nearby hiking trials where we managed to spot some rhebok and dassies!
Very nice and relaxed environment.
Had a very nice stay at this facility. We were very sad that we only booked 1 night here. I can absolutely recommend these cottages.

We hiked the Heiveld Arch, which was spectacular. Such a wonderful hike and a true attraction for Houdenbek Cottages.
Courtesy for body, soul and spirit. Getaway from the city rush and indulge in yesterday's fascination. Farm is beautiful and swimming spot at campsite is so tempting. One night was too short, would love to explore your hiking trail.
It's a beautiful natural environment with neat and orderly farming. Everyone was friendly and seemed happy.
We stayed for one night. The only problem is the bed. Due for a new mattress
