14 guests' feedbackWhat an experience, peaceful farm feeling. The owner received us kindly. We slept in Fisante Stal, an old horse stable that has been restored. The farm has hiking and mountain bike trails. I should have stayed at least 2 days. The farm recharged my batteries, I feel 10 years younger.
We had a great time on this beautiful farm with its beautiful rock formations. The accommodation is well furnished, tidy and comfortable. It was bitterly cold when we were there, but the unit is well equipped for any weather conditions. We had a good time sitting by the fireplace. The cute ginger cat, Darling, kept us cute company. We will definitely be back to explore more of the area and hiking trails.
The cottage is lovely and the setting is stunning, would have loved to stay longer and explore the area and do some hiking - next time.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay in the Tarentaal Cottage. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were perfect for braaing and keeping warm during the cold nights. A nearby dam provided a great swimming spot to be refreshed on the hot days. We also had some fun playing through the putt-putt course and exploring some of the nearby hiking trials where we managed to spot some rhebok and dassies!

We hiked the Heiveld Arch, which was spectacular. Such a wonderful hike and a true attraction for Houdenbek Cottages.
Courtesy for body, soul and spirit. Getaway from the city rush and indulge in yesterday's fascination. Farm is beautiful and swimming spot at campsite is so tempting. One night was too short, would love to explore your hiking trail.
It's a beautiful natural environment with neat and orderly farming. Everyone was friendly and seemed happy.
We stayed for one night. The only problem is the bed. Due for a new mattress
