The guest house comprises 3 suites that are tastefully decorated and furnished with old cape furniture. All suites are equipped with TV, DVD, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, fan, heater, iron, hot-blankets, and beach towels.
All linen and towels are provided and the suites are serviced weekly for longer stays. Personal touches such as fresh flowers, home-baked goodies and a fireside glass of sherry are provided on arrival. Complimentary mini breakfast items are also provided on arrival in each suite.
Outside facilities include a build-in braai, swimming pool, separate games, and braai lapa, firepit, laundry and ironing services on request. The organic vegetable garden, the bonsai garden and the garden sculptures all add to the charm of the guest house. The house is surrounded by meandering paths, a treehouse, and jungle-gym, swings and play-house.

What an amazing, beautiful place to stay at. The hostess is amazing and made our stay special. The garden is beautiful, the room is fitted with everything we needed, and five minutes' walk from restaurants (really five minutes' walk and was great). The area is quiet, safe, and secure, allowing me to enjoy my stay. We will be back.
A much-needed relaxing weekend in the most tranquil and beautiful of settings. The cottage has everything you need and is totally self-sufficient. The gardens are amazing, and you can easily get "lost" meandering around. There is a firepit down by the stream, make sure to book it in advance.

It was our 2nd time staying at House at Pooh Corner and again we did not want to leave. We had such an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the unbelievably beautiful gardens. A real peaceful piece of heaven they have created there. We felt right at home.
We arrived a bit later than expected & were greeted by a super friendly host! Their facilities & garden were nourishing to my soul! The facilities on hand were well received with a super comfy bed! The cottage was also super private! Did I mention the awesome old bears! Made me smile like a kid again!

I would give them 100 out of 10! Best stay we've ever had. The garden was just indescribably beautiful. We went on an otherworldly exploring expedition in every corner of the property and enjoyed every minute.
We live in Cape Town, and I have driven past The House at Pooh Corner for many years and have always been in awe of it. I am a huge Winnie The Pooh fan and so is my youngest daughter who is now 36. So when the chance came up to finally see for myself I was blown away by the garden paths and picnic area. I was expecting Pooh and his friends to come walking down the path at any moment. We stayed in Piglets Room, which was just gorgeous. Can highly recommend a stay here.
Our amal had a wonderful time and so many facilities are available - swimming pool, lapa, braai, even a place for garden lovers with their bonsai and walking distance from farm village. Many thanks to Kathy Fisher and her family - all so kind and helpful in everything they do.
The entrance to the property is very nice, and so is the parking. But we were able to get in there.
We were received very kindly and the owners were very helpful. The guest house is located right next to a lot of restaurants and shops, just walking distance from the premises. The room is intimate and comfortable. The gardens outside are incredibly beautiful, like a forest from a fairy tale. We would go back anytime!

Secure parking inside premises. Beautiful garden with artifacts and homemade charms for the curious. Restaurants are right across the street. It was cold and draughty. The night we were there was very cold. The heater in the bedroom was ineffective and there was insufficient hot water to get kids and adults bathed. So we were all freezing most of the night. Extra blankets didn't feel fresh or clean. And although heaters were available the only place to plug in was an extension chord that didn't feel very safe with the kids. It's a nice, quiet location and the accommodation is cute, but feels a bit neglected. And not particularly comfortable in the cold weather.
Exquisite garden and relaxing facilities.
Near the Foodbarn restaurant. Just across the road. It's a beautiful big house with a massive garden that someone is clearly taking good care of. The pool was not in use. It would be welcome if we knew this before the visit.
We only stayed one night but it was a wonderful experience next to the river with the water you can hear when you go to sleep and the beautiful garden I can recommend it to anyone to go and experience it I will definitely stay there again.

I was attending a show across the road at Cafe Roux and am glad I could find accommodation here. It meant that I could enjoy the show without worrying about getting home. It also pleases me that the establishment is bicycle friendly and I was permitted to keep my bicycle in my room. Although the hosts could not provide breakfast themselves, I felt it was great that they arranged a voucher to have breakfast at the Deli across the road.
