Very nice stay, they are always hospitable and send to the loadshedding schedule.
I had a very nice stay. Because I had to sleep there for three nights, I just would have liked a sink/dish to wash my cup and plate. I didn't like the idea of washing my dishes in the sink. The stairs to and from the room were also a problem for me as I have a sore knee. Furthermore, I had a great time and the host was always friendly and helpful.

Neat and clean. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't available at the time. Also, the WiFi was erratic and slow, and there is no backup power during load shedding.

Had a great stay. The rooms with bathrooms are very neat, comfortable and clean. Jan is very friendly. There was a blonde woman who was a bit grumpy. Didn't communicate with us, greet us or make us feel welcome.
Very pleasant, the place is nice and clean and very modern. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The shops are within walking distance and it is 8km from Sunbet Arena.

Neat unit with overnight facilities. Safe neighborhood, but your vehicle is not behind a locked gate. The owner says there are "beams", but I was not reassured about my vehicle. A big problem is the absence of a kitchen sink for coffee cups etc. to wash We were therefore forced to wash the crockery in the bathroom for a next use. If the above is corrected, I will recommend this guest house.
My husband and I are just coffee snobs, but luckily there is a place where we could get coffee early in the morning. That's really all that bothered.
The crockery like the mugs for coffee needs upgrading. It appears as if it is self-catering, but there are no sink facilities in the unit to wash the used cups, glasses. Surely the owner doesn't expect us to wash it in the bathroom sink? On the 2nd morning, a worker did wash the crockery. However, it is not enough to have clean crockery should you stay for a few days. There is a notice indicating the guest house has no workers who will come in during the stay.
We asked and paid for a king-size room, and when we got there there was a "double booking" and we had to sleep in a smaller room, with our little girl. The room was neat and spacious. Load shedding is/was a big problem, there is no extra power supplier. Unfortunately, it was a bad "call" for us. Because we travel for business, and had to finish. But other than that it was very comfortable. Thank you very much.
Location and security fantastic. Room neatly and tastefully laid out. Was booked in for five nights, had to buy our own toilet paper after the third day. Room is not serviced every day, and although there were drying cloths, there is nowhere a dish sink in which to wash dishes. Understands "loadshedding", but WiFi is sometimes not available outside of loadshedding times. Have found better value for money at other guesthouses in the area.
The overall stay was good, customer service lacking.
The parking area at the guesthouse is practically on the pavement with no security gate. There is indeed a trap door with a gate guard but a vehicle of mine has already been stolen under similar circumstances. I would recommend that the guest house erect a fence with a security gate on the grounds.
House Mulberry is neat and clean. Although one's vehicle is parked outside, the guest house is in a security controlled area which makes it safe. At our request, the owner also switched on the infrared rays at night. However, there is a major water problem, which is a shame. The shower head is chalked up and the water only comes out of a few holes. Furthermore, there was not any hot water in the morning. We brought this to the owner's attention by phone early in the morning, and he was aware that the borehole pump was causing problems. After the municipal water was turned on, there was hot water. However, no apology was offered. The switch for the bathroom light does not work and we had to use alternative lighting in the bathroom. There is a coffee station with coffee, tea and biscuits. However, a wash basin is missing and the coffee cups must therefore be rinsed out in the bathroom. On the way from the vehicle's assigned parking to the guest room, there are two places where the roof is very low and one could easily hit one's head. It may be necessary to mention that there are quite a few steps too, which will not be accessible to everyone. There is a sign on the room's fridge that no children under 12 are allowed. It is important to mention this to future guests.
Will definitely stay at House Mulberry Guesthouse again.
