The photos on websites can't do justice to this charming house. I have never stayed in holiday accommodation with this quality of furnishing and equipment.
We had a good time. Perfect overnight place!
My mother and I had a great stay despite the other guests' dogs barking terribly. Everything was clean and the hostess went out of her way to make our stay as wonderful as possible.

The snug cottage next to House No. 1 is perfect for an overnight stop on the way to the sea. The cottage is always spotless and tidy and offers safe parking within the yard. The cottage is also fenced and therefore suitable for dogs.
Gas was not connected the first night, so we had to request it the next day. Katrin was very accommodating and even booked our dinners.

This neat unit is within walking distance of the core of New Bethesda. Good value for money.
While in town feel free to stop at the restaurant Sterling, incredible Karoo Cuisine. Match for the special experience.
It is clean, there is good running water and the fact that it was a safe place made our stay a very good one.
Nieu-Bethesda is a magical place with incredible energy and peaceful people. Walking through the friendly town, seeing locals and the tourists smiling and enjoying a South African gem, reinvigorates the soul and brings believe back.
House No 1's cottage is comfortable enough for 3 people to stay over in Nieu-Bethesda. There is safe parking in the yard and our 2 dogs had a lovely time exploring and running around the enclosed yard. There is also a very nice and warm duvet as well as an electric blanket on the bed for those cold Karoo nights.
