The main and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds and a queen-size bed; each bedroom offers lovely views. The open-plan well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a stove and an oven, cutlery, crockery, and other small appliances. The adjacent open-plan living area leads out to a sheltered deck with braai facilities. There is another open-air deck next to the river where guests can sit and relax as well.
Guests can hear the sounds of the river, or often spot free-roaming impala, zebra, bushbuck, and bush pig near the house. There are unusually beautiful trees, such as Jackal Berry, Leadwood, Marula and Fig that surround the property.

Wonderful destination by the Blyde River!
Very nice place, walked, swam and spent time with the family.
We were very kindly welcomed and made to feel at home. There were even some goodies in the fridge for us to enjoy. It's a wonderful, neat place with all the facilities you need and a view like few. Thank you, we really enjoyed it.
Christine and Morny's hospitality is top notch. We felt very welcome, stayed comfortably and made good use of all the facilities. Little things like extra towels, tea/coffee & biscuits as well as breakfast for the first morning really impressed us. Thank you for a lovely week at House on Blyde.
Quiet security area where one can truly relax with a view of the river. Furnishing and provisions in the residence are excellent. Having daily necessities on hand helps with the one or two items one might have forgotten to take with them. Additional information from our hostess (who lives on the premises next door) explained the necessary attractions in the area.

- Please close all windows and doors when off the property – baboons have caused damage on various occasions.

- Check-in at 14:00 and Check-out strictly at 10:00 am.
- No loud music.
- Please put out fires before going to bed.
- Do not dispose of any foreign objects in the toilets; use the bins provided.
- Housekeeping is not included in the cleaning fee but can be arranged on request at R180-00 per day. This will consist of basic cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living area.
