Besides the weather, we enjoyed our stay. The only issue is that there were no light bulbs in the bedside lamps.

Shared toilet and shower were not clean. The kitchen was full of dirty dishes. My vehicle was parked in the street. I did not get a key for the secure parking. The parking is on another site and is locked with a lock and chain.

I had a very peaceful and exciting experience at the House On Plein guesthouse. The building and view were amazing and we received a very warm welcome upon our arrival and departure. All the other guests were considerate of everyone around them as well as their privacy. Thank you for a good and proper stay.

Upon arrival from the long road from PE, we had cold water in the shower. It was cold, there were no heaters, bed was very unpleasant, there were condoms in the drawers.
Place could do with more maintenance and cleaning, for example the curtains and medical kitchen. Had trouble getting hold of anyone when we got there.
House was exceptionally clean.
Enjoyed my stay. Clean, comfortable and well serviced. Owners were good communicators and made the stay enjoyable. Wi-Fi was fast.
House On Plein was perfect for what we needed: a place to sleep over. The owners were very helpful and accommodated us when we wanted to check in earlier to get ready for our function. Unfortunately, there were guests who did not consider fellow guests, and we slept badly.

I was bit taken aback by how casual the check-in and check-out worked. Also, we had no tour of the facilities. This was a real backpacker's type of stay. Which was okay for the purpose of our stay, but I think they could do better. The windows of our room couldn't close. And we had a child with us. Also, we booked the "dorm" but got a different room.
Owner just came to open for other guests, who also had to wait for him, and he wasn't there when guest left, and guest had to throw the keys throught the safety gate which landed by our door which woke us all the time. We also checked whether the keys were thrown far enough so that someone from the outside couldn't just reach for the key and let themselves in.
On Sunday we were woken up and asked when we were going home and asked for extra money.
Safe parking is quite important, which wasn't readily available.
Accommodation is in a historic house. The room does not look like the pictures provided. Wooden beds and simple furniture. Shared bathroom is very standard. Cabinet with building tools and old paint cans in bathroom. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Lots of weeds and garden debris in the parking area. We were late due to a long trip, and the owner was very friendly on the phone. There is no reception. Permanent resident opened for us and was very unfriendly because she had to wait 2 hours for us to check in, which was understandable since she is also a resident, and not an employee. Bath towels were small. Room was very standard and smelled a bit musty due to age of the premises.

It stinks, it's dirty and can't be described as a guesthouse. Not value for money. They'll never see me again.
The owners made a huge effort to accommodate us and they made sure we were comfortable, extra blankets supplied as it was freezing.

The accommodation is neat and well located. There are several nearby (walking distance) eateries to choose from. We didn't like the plastic shower curtain. Really enjoyed a trip to the Language Monument.

A bathroom and toilet without a door. A bath without and handles. There is no way that a middle aged person can get out of the bath without assistance, especially ladies. The coating of the bath is poor and looks dirty. A shower handle on the bath taps but no bracket on the wall to hook the handle onto. No shower curtain to prevent the water to flood the floor. The previous mornings coffee cups left dirty and unattended. Got woken in the night by a guest arriving late beating on the front door and our bedroom window which is on the front stoop wanting to be let in. This is not what we expected. I refuse to believe that this is an acceptable standard that you set for your guests.

Arrived rather late - friendly faces welcomed me. Had problems with one of my car tires and called in after hours assistance. The managers were with me outside in the rain the whole time, really appreciate it. Had to leave very early, arranged for a key. and of course slept well. Forgot my umbrella in my room, was kept for me - thank you! Thank you very much to all of you. Nice wishes.
Was peaceful atmosphere and convenient location.
Due to the location of the accommodation one was aware of the traffic on the main street throughout the night. Could perhaps pay attention to the following: The bed has seen better days and the night's rest was not so comfortable. Because the room shared a bathroom with another room, I suggest putting out more toilet paper - the already used roll in the tiolet was not enough for everyone. The accommodation was clean and tidy.
