Our stay was absolutely amazing!!! The host was beyond friendly and the unit had everything and more than a person could ask for. The linins were changed frequently and everyone was so lovely and helpful.
Due to weather conditions, we only arrived at Zandvlei after hours, but were still kindly received. We even received route suggestions for safer travel routes at night as we progressed.

The stay was great. The host was very friendly and I loved how clean the place was. I would however recommend you go with your laptop and HDMI cable if you want to watch TV.

We stayed there for 7 days and would have appreciated to have received clean bedding at least once (we didn't ask for it though). The unit was generally clean and tidy and the photos show what you get. The owners are friendly and helpful.

You have to go through the second room to go to the bathroom. The unit is old and needs a little attention. The walls need paint and some of the wooden floorboards are loose. Although there is a TV in the room, you cannot decide on which channel you want to watch. It is always on the channel the owner sees, and he changes it as it suits him.
A lovely central location. Owners were unobtrusive and friendly. Spacious rooms. Only drawback could be the kitchen you need to share with the occupants of the other room. The first occupants weren't a problem, but the second lot was not very neat so it put me off from using the kitchen. Both rooms are lovely and spacious. Access up the stairs can be a tight squeeze if a vehicle is parked inside next to the stairs.
It was lovely to stay at House Zandvlei. The peaceful community around the house made us feel welcome. We could feel safe in the street while walking to the beach, or to the shops. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

We recently got married on 04/02/2017. We used House Zandvlei for our honeymoon and we were really satisfied with the service, even the room we were in. The time was just too short. The environment is stunning. We really enjoyed our time there.

The space and quality of the linen and towels are great. We slept really well and Katie is a diamond! The area was a bit busy with new year. Nicely centrally located.
The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcomed us with open arms. We even received a tin with cookies for Christmas Day! We will defintely go back there one day!
My daughter and I spent a week at House Zandvlei. It is well situated in the Muizenburg area within walking distance to the beach front. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. We had an enjoyable stay and I will book there again on my next visit to Cape Town.
The room and the bathroom are spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen, which must be shared, has too few utensils. The pans are far too big for 1 or 2 people, there is only one pan, no towel, no soap, no wooden spatulas etc. The interior of the braai was suddenly no longer present. Had no contact with the landlord.

Within walking distance of beach. Nice to explore area. Delicious restaurants, especially Harbor House at Vishoek. Cheap train ride from Muizenberg to Simonstad. Nice place to be a tourist.

The accommodation in Muizenberg suited us perfect! It was within walking distance to Surfers Corner and the beach. The two bedroom apartment with a small kitchen and two showers was convenient. Perhaps the kitchen equipment could have been more complete, (e.g. sharp knife,a frying pan, a smaller saucepan). Otherwise, all was perfect.
