The two hosts were both very engaging, friendly and informative and made us feel welcome and at home. The venue is ideally located with a beautiful view from where you can leisurely lie in bed in the morning watching the sun coming up over the mountains lighting up the sea view and docks below.

Very clean and tidy and quiet. View over Hout Bay and surrounding area is a winner. Was there for the Two Oceans marathon and it was well located. The heated pool as advertised was the selling point for our visit, but unfortunately the pool was not heated.

I had to arrange accommodation in Hout Bay at very short notice for the evening of 30 December 2022. Hout Bay View had a room available. The room was beautiful - spacious, lovely large double bed, very clean and tidy, with a veranda that offers breathtaking views of Hout Bay. There was also a small fridge, Netflix, and coffee/tea facilities. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and allowed me to check out a little later - even though they were very busy the next day. The price was on the more expensive side, but it was definitely a lovely place to experience some luxury!

The accommodation is top class. The breakfast offering, however, was not aligned with the high-end accommodation and the choice was very limited.
Spectacular view, beautiful home and at excellent location. Everyone very friendly. We were very disappointed with the food. Breakfast was under standard. No choices were given and food was also cold. We stayed in 5 guest houses in 10 days and at all the other places we had a menu with lots of choices. Also during loadshedding no generator, just 1 camp light.
Stay in general was nice but to come back at 9 o'clock in the evening to no electricity or water in taps was very disappointing. At this price one would expect a guest house to have an inverter!
Everything was just beautiful, incredibly beautiful, from reception to our room. Until the indescribably beautiful view we had. Andrew, thank you so much for everything and thank you to the lovely staff. My partner enjoyed her birthday 100000. Will definitely go back. Hout Bay View, you guys were awesome.
Oh, this was so luxurious! We really felt like queens. The owner was friendly, pleasant and hospitable. The rooms are beautifully decorated. It was truly a wonderful experience. The breakfast was amazing and the view exceptional. Do yourself a favor and please go there!
It was beautiful - would 100% go visit again.
From the moment we arrived we were warmly received. We immediately felt at home. We only stayed 1 night in the beautiful place, next time we will come longer. The breakfast that was included in the price was very nice. The place is beautiful and has the best view of the sea and the mountains.
The rooms at the guest house are spacious, comfortable and very neat and clean. The view over the sea is fantastic and the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful!
We enjoyed our stay and the accommodation and rooms were all special. Friendly guests, and good service!
