What an unforgettable weekend at one of the most beautiful places in the peninsula. Less than an hour's drive from our home in Melkbosstrand. Yet it felt to us as if we were somewhere overseas in the countryside. Accommodation exceeded all our expectations. So glad we discovered it. Will definitely come back for this fantastic getaway, next time just with more family because there are so many options to choose from.

It was neat, clean, enough space for 6 adults, nice barbecue area. Tennis court was a nice bonus. Many hiking trails in the area to explore the beauty.

We really enjoyed our stay at Houtkapperspoort. The cottage was clean and tidy and very well equipped. There is really everything one needs. The estate is beautiful, with beautiful views and beautiful gardens. It is well located with many attractions nearby.
Ross greeted us, he was kind and friendly and very informative. The stay was wonderful, peaceful. The cottage was neat, and very tidy with modern finishes. Will definitely come back.
We had a pleasant time staying at the poplar cottage, it was very comfortable and everything we needed was available to us. The manager, Ross was wonderful, he even responded to my questions of how to use certain things in the house via WhatsApp. It was very peaceful. We even took an afternoon walk around the estate and my child could enjoy watching the springbok up close. The only thing I would do differently would be come back in a warmer season to enjoy the pool.
An oasis of calm after a busy day. Very comfortable and clean. Loved the animal visitors - a genet cat at night, a tame squirrel who came right up to the door, a guinea-fowl who also visited us every morning and evening. Sterling customer service also. From a business perspective, I really appreciated the excellent lighting in the cottage and the fast and reliable internet.
We had a wonderful time. The house is clean and tidy. The children really enjoyed the goats and squirrels.
We Namibians love to braai and there is a braai on the stoep that overlooks the mountains. Every night was lovely and with teenagers the WiFi is of course a great asset. The master bedroom was of course my wife's favorite. Very nice and beautiful environment with all this.

Description
Cool Coral tree Cottage is one of the largest cottages on the estate, bigger even than many of the three bed units. This cottage also has an extra bed upstairs, so sleeps 5 people, great for families with three kids. Situated on the North side of the property, this cottage has a fantastic view over the valley and the Twelve Apostles Mountains to the West. It is really well named, the tall trees that surround the cottage keep it surprisingly cool in the hot Summer months. The master bedroom downstairs has a Queen-sized bed with air-conditioning, fitted carpeting, brand new bed linen and towels, and an ensuite bathroom with wash basin, make-up/shaving mirror, shower & toilet. This bedroom also has a private entrance with small patio, table and chairs, barbecue facilities, and a private washing line. The upstairs bedroom offers three single beds with air-conditioning, TV, wall to wall carpeting, bed linen and towels as well as a separate bath, toilet and wash basin. Description
Cool Coral tree Cottage is one of the largest cottages on the estate, bigger even than many of the three bed units. This cottage also has an extra bed upstairs, so sleeps 5 people, great for families with three kids. Situated on the North side of the property, this cottage has a fantastic view over the valley and the Twelve Apostles Mountains to the West. It is really well named, the tall trees that surround the cottage keep it surprisingly cool in the hot Summer months. The master bedroom downstairs has a Queen-sized bed with air-conditioning, fitted carpeting, brand new bed linen and towels, and an ensuite bathroom with wash basin, make-up/shaving mirror, shower & toilet. This bedroom also has a private entrance with small patio, table and chairs, barbecue facilities, and a private washing line. The upstairs bedroom offers three single beds with air-conditioning, TV, wall to wall carpeting, bed linen and towels as well as a separate bath, toilet and wash basin. Each cottage has a veranda and braai facilities, and is equipped with quality linen and towels, a TV with selected DStv channels and a DVD player, air-conditioning, and a wood-burning fireplace and/or underfloor heating. Each cottage is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven and stove, and a microwave. Most have washing machines and some have dishwashers installed. All have uncapped, high-speed fibre internet available for for guests.
