Hudson House is very neat and sparkling clean. There is convenient on-site parking and a security gate. The rooms were beautifully clean with a large and comfortable bathroom. The beds were comfortable.

From reception to checkout, the process went smoothly. Rooms are spacious and tidy with crisp linen on a comfortable bed. The guesthouse is next to a busy street, but the noise didn't bother me in my room. During breakfast, an effort was made to serve us personally.

We booked on short notice for one night at Hudson House. From confirmation to check-out, it was a great experience. The owner is hands-on, professional and very friendly. As a recently new Clivia lover, the Clivias in bloom was just amazing. Bedding, breakfast, excellent huge bathroom with just the correct water pressure. Loved the stocked honesty fridge. The only negative experience was a child on the floor below us which was extremely noisy but that is not the hotel's fault. One cupboard door could not close.

My daughter and I stay for one night in a lovely spacious room on the first floor. It is a stumming hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Nice decor of high quality and modern. Central location, quiet and private. Delicious breakfast.
We stayed over for the evening to go to a movie and dinner at The Grove. We slept in room 4. Very neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The GPS took us through Sussex Avenue which didn't help much, there was a temporary gate on it. Stay on Lynwood Road and the guest house is a bit hidden so look carefully!
Service is very good. Breakfast was excellent and the reception was generous.
Sometimes we had to call someone to open the gate during the day, but otherwise great service!

For a B&B one does not expect what is provided by Hudson House, the standard is that of a hotel, if not better! An excellent facility if you are an executive looking for a place to stay. It is immaculate in every aspect right from the decor and finishingâ??s through to the basics of cleanliness. The size of the bath room blew me away with a full bath, large shower with a nice designer finish. The recessed ceiling night light in the bathroom creates a relaxing ambiance if you were to soak in a nice hot bath at the end of a stressful day is in my opinion a brilliant finishing touch. I was treated like a king during my stay and I would urge anyone to consider Hudson House especially if you are looking for up market accommodation.
