We had an enjoyable stay, but for 12 people the space was too small. Other than that, the facilities were good. Just a suggestion: maybe put towel rails in the bathrooms.
Lovely stay, beautiful place and peaceful atmosphere. Versatile and everywhere places to get together and chat/meet. We would highly recommend it. Also had fantastic service and guidance from the owner and you guys. Was just a pleasure, full period of our stay! Would love to visit again. Thank you Michelle and to the website!
Very nice stay. The house has all the amenities one needs. Lovely entertainment area with swimming pool.
Huis by die See was perfect. Spacious connect area. Lots of space for group work. Amenities were superb. The host was super helpful. We had a great experience. It is difficult to find a home with 6 bedrooms. Huis by die See is very reasonably priced and offers great value for money. The location is within walking distance to a beautiful beach, which is an added feature. The kitchen is well-equipped. The off-street parking is more than adequate. The bathrooms are spacious.
We enjoyed our stay. The beautiful, spacious house could accommodate a large group, which was ideal for the couples' breakaway weekend.
It was a very nice stay, the host is always available via WhatsApp to assist with queries. The house is big and beautiful. The pool just wasn't clean during our stay.
We had a nice stay, but there were a few things that really upset us.
First of all, we were not late for our check-in time, but when we arrived, the lady who was there left immediately. She didn't even show us around, and we had to find our way around the house. I complained about the fridge being too hot, but they insisted it was working. When I took a picture to show them, it was still the same. We found dirty kitchen trays, but I didn't complain. There were leakages in the sinks and bathroom, but we didn't complain. We called regarding the dirty pool, but no one came, and they didn't pick up our calls. When they finally decided to answer us, they lied, saying they sent someone, but we were sitting with the windows open the whole time, and the music was not loud. Each bathroom only had one toilet paper for the whole two days. The house was not ready for us at all. The stove was only working on one plate, and it was slow. On Saturday, we wanted to cook mash but ended up eating bread because it was too slow. We didn't even see any dustbins, so we put the garbage together in one place because we ran out of plastic bags. We left the fireplaces dirty because we didn't have a plastic bag to use. The WiFi was slow. On Monday morning, we ran out of power before checkout time. I did report that we broke a chair, but they didn't respond. I told them to send someone to fetch the keys, and I wanted to inspect the house together with that person to ensure everything was in order, but they didn't send anyone. I tried to post my review yesterday, and I even checked with them yesterday, asking if they found the keys in the lockbox. I was left on read. We paid a lot of money, and we were not treated right. It's a pity we didn't take pictures, but I tried to buy a small amount of electricity (R10) to check if the meter number was correct before buying more. When the electricity reached R1, my friends said whoever didn't bathe or eat would do it back home. Attached is the proof of the electricity I bought.
We were a large group of 12 and enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you need, very spacious and clean. Loved it! And our host, Michelle, was of good assistance and very friendly, will definitely be back soon.
