We spent two nights at Hunters Pride 35 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and close to Camp Discovery where we spent most of our days for a tournament. The house is surprisingly warm during the winter nights. The beds are really comfortable, rooms are neat and spacious. Love that each room has its own bathroom. We will definitely be back soon.

This place is hands down the best vacation spot we've ever visited! It's definitely worth the money and very affordable for groups of up to six people. There's a refreshing little swimming pool to cool off in during hot summer days and a lovely patio and braai area where we spent most of our time gazing out into the bush. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you could possibly need, including a dishwasher! The lounge has a very comfortable couch and a big TV. It's located close to a fence, so we could see some buck and other animals wandering around, and we even had daily visits from the zebras. We had a wonderful stay at Hunters Pride 35 and will definitely come back in the future!
I can definitely recommend Hunters Pride 35 to everyone. It is such a beautiful place and very luxurious, and it is much more beautiful than in the photos. There is aircon in every room, a heated pool and literally everything you need. This includes dishwasher pads, dish soap, bath towels, pots, pans, bowls, literally ALS. Gave us all the information needed and everything went smoothly. We had such a great weekend and would definitely go again. Can also definitely recommend for the gamedrive. We got so much information and learned and it was worth every penny.

Thoroughly enjoyed stay. Disappointed that although we bought a self-drive permit, we were denied access to the routes where most game could be viewed. Family of 7 including 3 children under 7 are not suited to organised game drives.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. Marius was an amazing host. The accommodation was even more amazing than the pictures show. We had daily visits from the zebras and saw giraffes and many buck walking past. The pool was a perfect end to our game drives. We also want to recommend Eric who took us on a game drive. We saw lions, a huge herd of elephants, and many more animals.

Jewel of a place in the heart of the forest. Everything and more was at our disposal. Marius is great and you could call him anytime to hear about game drives, nice places to eat nearby, etc. His place just gives you that energy and 'mind cleaning' to tackle the rest of the year. We loved Hunters Pride 35, everything you need for a family break. All you need to pack is food and clothes. Kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen accessories. There is putt-putt and a play area for the children, already planning our next weekend away. Thank you very much Hunters Pride!
Neat, clean and well equipped house. Solar as alternative power is great. Wasn't impacted by load shedding at all. Braai area and swimming pool also neat. See the wildlife from your porch.
This place is all about the small things. The sparkling white towels, fresh linen, the kitchen utensils, including a braai bak and a small cooler box for game drives. The braai outside was in excellent condition. You don't find that at self-catering units often, with all the necessary braai tools - all exceptional. There is a small pool heated by a pool pump and, best of all, a solar backup system so Eskom can really bugger off while you enjoy your stay. Full DSTV and WiFi make watching any sport an easy process. We will be back here! The only advice is to pay conservation fees online and buy the Dinokeng Map from the shop for R50 when you enter. It will help you access the rest of the area for self game drives and eliminate waiting time on your way out of the reserve. Lekker man, dit was lekker!

Marius is an excellent host with full information regarding arrangements for our stay in a fully equipped kitchen and spacious rooms with an emphasis on luxury where nothing is missing, especially with the solar system which was a bonus during load shedding.

You definitely won't go wrong here if you book. The accommodation has all that you would need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The outdoor area is welcoming and spacious with a huge dining table, a braai area, heated splash pool and fire pit. The kitchen equipment, bedding and furniture are of superior quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the serenity and privacy was amazing. The zebras roaming around was a great treat!

We really enjoyed our weekend here and even got a surprise visit from an Elephant one night- it was a magnificent experience. The house is just like the pictures and very clean. Wi-Fi is good and the owner is very helpful and friendly!
A group of friends and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Marius shared valuable information beforehand and we were able to enjoy the weekend despite loadshedding due to the easy switch-over with the solar system backup. We had zebras on our lawn a few times a day and really enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and patio area. We all agreed that we will return.

Beautiful place deep in the forest. House is well furnished with everything you need. There is nice space inside and outside the house. Swimming pool works 100% and cools you down. Overall, it is a very beautiful, peaceful environment and it feels like you are on holiday.
The zebras and warthog welcomed us. We could have a nice barbecue and sit around the fire in the evenings. The hot pool is a plus. The view is wonderful. It's blissful and the perfect getaway for anyone. It was a bonus point that Hunters Pride also has a solar system in place. The load shedding didn't bother us for a second. We will definitely go back and visit again. Feels like home and more!
A beautiful house with enough extras to make your stay very comfortable. The environment is peaceful and you feel as if you are alone under the starry sky in the evenings with a frog singing in the background. Would highly recommend the place.
A beautiful house with a wonderful layout so one can enjoy the bushveld animals and their sounds from the braai area at night. The zebra and warthog walking freely in the estate was a nice surprise. Lovely heated splash pool. And enough space for the children to ride bike and play. House has everything one needs for a breakaway.

Hunters Pride 35 is a beautiful house situated in a lovely part of Dinokeng. The house is well equipped and immaculate.
Where do I start. Tt's is an awesome house. Everything you need and al lot of things you didn't even expect. The house is super clean and cozy. Relaxing around the boma whilst the kids enjoyed the heated pool. They had so much fun with their bicycles. Early mornings you can feel the world wake up around you. It was really a fantastic nice weekend, the house is really top class, clean and modern with a lovely view over the forest with everything you need. Zebras and warthogs walking around the house until a fox was seen running past the house. The view over the forest is beautiful. We accidentally broke a champagne glass, Maruis said that's how he now knows his guests enjoyed the weekend, such a nice sense of humor. Thank you Marius, your accommodation is top, top, top class.
The house was well equipped and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed out short stay and had the pleasure of viewing zebra in the garden as well as a family of warthogs. We will definitely return.
Just an incredible amount of flies, so bring enough doom, food nets etc. Turn off the pool heat pump early, water gets very hot for summer swimming.

It's weird that I walk in somewhere and everything is up to my standard. The place is beautiful, clean, with nice tasteful decor. It really feels like "home away from home". Can sit on that porch all day and just take in the peace.
