Wow, one of the best weekend breaks in many years, and we take a lot of them. This unit just has it all. Eric and Lolly, thank you for the spirited way in which you welcomed us to your place. The game drive was probably the best we ever had in any wildlife resort, and that includes the big ones. The effort put into the game drive was so informative by Eric and not just a matter of starting the jeep and driving. Experiencing lions so close to us (half a meter, mother, cubs, and male) was one of my best sightings ever and will be remembered. The unit was super prepared and with the comfort of the house and setup, this was just the best value for money. We will be back soon again, but this time for longer. Thanks to both of you again from my family as well. I'm sure the boma has cooled down by now.

The house has everything you need for an amazing stay! Saw giraffes, blue wildebeest, warthogs and kudu while having a meal. There are zebras and various birds on the property. Such an amazing location and relaxing stay. Eric did our game drive and we were fortunate to see lions, cheetah and rhinos among other animals and birds. Thank you! Will definitely be back.

It was the perfect location to unwind. Lots of birds, visit by zebras and warthogs and we saw rhinos and giraffes from the breakfast table. The house has everything that you need, from multiple glasses, serving dishes, a dishwasher and more. The beds are good quality and bathrooms spacious with lotions/body wash. The splash pool is wonderful! A perfect location to recharge.

What a surprise, the accommodation is luxurious, clean with absolutely nothing lacking. There is really everything from gas for barbecue and stove, power for everything. Would recommend to everyone anytime. Can't wait to visit there again. Will go far to find such excellent host and field guide as Eric.
Hunters Pride offers a relaxing environment with lovely birdlife and game (zebra, warthog etc. ) grazing outside the house. Good for families as well.

Our visit to and stay at Hunters Pride 39 was undoubtedly one to remember and cherish forever! Eric and Lorraine's service and hospitality were outstanding and the accommodation was modern, luxurious and tidy with everything you need and more! The zebras that came to visit regularly were another highlight along with the variety of birds! A game drive with Eric and Lorraine is a must! Besides the herds of lions and buffaloes as well as rhinos - white and black - and cheetahs that we saw, Eric's knowledge of nature is excellent! It was definitely the first of many visits!
Amazing stay - had everything we needed and more.
For the price, the accommodation was exceptionally luxurious. Nothing is missing from the facilities either. Attention is given to the finest details, such as e.g. first aid equipment, water filtration, knee blankets and much more. Bathrooms, rooms and living areas are beautiful. Playground for the children and nature all around you!
We stayed at the new unit S1, newly built. The hosts, Lolly and Eric are amazing, the game drive was so informative and not a dull moment. Absolutely loved the hosts. We were welcomed with open arms. The house was beautifully set with such comfortable beds, and amazing showers. Kitchen is well equipped. The upstairs chilling area is a must. We sat there most nights through the load-shedding, it even made us enjoy the load-shedding. From the heated pool to the fireplace. Just absolutely amazing. Loved every minute of being there.

We have just spent the most wonderful weekend at 39 Hunter's Pride. The unit was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and was extremely large and comfortable. Every possible eventuality was catered for - even additional cell phone chargers and torches were provided. Eric took us on 2 wonderful game drives and he was an extremely knowledgeable guide. He and his family went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time. We loved the zebras and warthog that popped past the patio throughout the day. This was truly a one of a kind experience and we cannot wait to go back again!

Hunters Pride 39 is really such a nice place. We really enjoyed it. The house and rooms were neat, everything we needed was there. It was so nice to sit on the porch with the tranquility and of course the birds, zebras and goats that come to visit every now and then, late afternoon/evening around the Boma and our ladies really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. I liked the place so much that I bought a plot there myself. Lovely piece of forest and here you can really switch off, half an hour's drive out of the city. The owners are awesome and make sure you don't need anything.

Our family of 6 stayed at 39 Hunters Pride over the weekend of 7 August 2021 and we did not want to leave. The house and all of its amenities were perfect – there wasn’t a dish or a piece of cutlery/crockery that the kitchen did not have, the Jacuzzi was ready upon our arrival, beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable sheets and towels and a view overlooking the patio where zebras were grazing, amazing fire pit and braai area where the family laughed and enjoyed the stars above and the bushbaby jumping in the trees. The host, Eric, was at our beck and call and ensured that we had the best time – he welcomed us at the entrance of Pride of Africa, escorted us to Hunters Pride, and showed us around the house. We can all recommend Hunters Pride as the hospitality and the house were out of this world. We will definitely be booking again in the near future. Maré family.
From when we arrived till we left, it was amazing. The owner and his wife are fantastic people, they took us out on a private game drive for three and a half hours, this was awesome. When we got home on Sunday evening, they called us to make sure we arrived home safe and to personally thank us for using their lodge.
Hunters Pride offers prestigious and very neat as well as modern accommodation in Dinokeng for larger groups. It was also a pleasure to communicate with the owners - Eric and Lorraine. They went out of their way to ensure that all our requests were attended to and also wanted to know how everything was (was) going while we were there. We would definitely love to stay there again.

Very modern, luxurious, neat place. It is fantastically equipped, you don't need anything more. Go and relax, it's absolutely worth it.
Very comfortable stay in this spacious house with a beautiful patio, braai area and splash pool all overlooking the game reserve. Comfortable beds, well equipped all over and the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer are a huge bonus. We enjoyed the visits by free roaming zebra, squirrels, chipmunk and red tail jackal. Lots of birdlife. On the other side of the fence we were visited by kudu, antelope, wart hog and wildebeest. We also enjoyed the putt putt.
The Pride of Africa Nature Reserve is very well located. A very safe environment. Make sure you book your game drive excursion to see the Big 5 and/or to go on a self drive. Wildlife reserve's conservation fee is extra.
Will definitely be going back there.
The owners were extremely hospitable and friendly. A wonderful place to break away for young and old! ?A piece of jewel in the bushveld. 5 star accommodation while enjoying the forest.

This is the ideal getaway. The house is comfortable with so many additional benefits. Each outdoor chair has a blanket, enough lights for when it's load shedding, more than enough cutlery and glasses, there are even mobile phone chargers in the rooms! If you're looking for a pampering getaway, this is the place for you!

We had a wonderful weekend at Hunters Pride 39. Paul, the owner, really went out of his way to accommodate us and it is greatly appreciated. We stayed in his home and it was so nice to have the most beautiful rooms and swimming pool with living area and boma area.

The unit was great in terms of location, size etc. I am very disappointed in how dirty the unit was and also how many things did not work. I was very red in the face among the ladies who went with me. Dirty fridge shelf with blood in the fridge. Washing machine has mold in it. No soap/pad for dishwasher so couldn't use the machine. No dish drying rack. Cutlery loads terribly dirty. Dining room chairs' leather pulls off, when you sit on the chairs your colors are dirty, unsure if it's dust in the material under the leather? Very bad eye if my walk-in is not like advertised photos. The master bedroom has a downlight that does not turn off. Nights were slept, but with the light on. 2nd bedroom's en-suite light does not turn off, it flickers on and off all evening. Cobwebs under the mirror cabinet at plug point in single bed room. Termite damage in single bed room so much that there is not even a skirting. Jacuzzi was dirty and sloppy. White swimming trunks just stained green. A large TV that doesn't work, with a small TV that works right in front of it in TV room. Overall, I wasn't convinced I got my money's worth.

The accommodation is beautiful and luxurious. The service is friendly. Paul went out of his way to make the game drive really pleasant for us, and we were privileged to see lions from up close.

Hunters Pride 39 is a large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a good layout and a nice area to hang out with friends outside and inside. With a boma, big patio and a Jacuzzi outside with a view of the veld. The space inside has a nice layout. We enjoyed the open plan kitchen with large dinner table. Separate scullery with washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Small things need attention. We had a nice stay as 6 adults with 2 babies. It is close to Pretoria and we felt really safe.
However, the accommodation needs a lot of attention. Many lights are out of order, there are mice in the house, the Jaccuzi pump is not working. Still, it was a very pleasant and peaceful visit in a beautiful luxury house. Thank you very much.

The accommodation is really nice. However, it was not clean. Neat, but not decently clean, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms, no attention is paid to washing things off and leaving them clean. Other than that we had a nice stay.
We went to Hunters Pride for 2 days, and I just hoped for the best. The place is then surprisingly large, nicely finished and you are in your own little woodland! It's romantic, but also great for families. The 'Game Drive' was fantastic, saw lions and much more. The sunset was also a hit on the 'Game Drive' as well as at home. We had a fantastic time, and recommend the place to anyone.
Would go again anytime. Had a very nice weekend.

Upon arrival the house was dirty and there were a lot of flies. The swimming pool didn't get warm. No plan was made to resolve it.
