Received a wonderful welcome when I checked in late in the evening. I was guided to my parking and received assistance with carrying luggage up the stairs. The room was lovely and warm, clean, and had everything that I could ask for. Breakfast was delicious, and the serving staff were extremely friendly. The mushroom sauce is out of this world. The reception staff during check-out were very professional and friendly. I was sad to go.

An ideal stay at Hydro Guest House if you want to visit someone in Medihelp clinic. Very clean and tidy, would highly recommend it.

Very friendly and hospitable management who are happy to help you with everything. Room in very good condition. The seat in the shower can probably be removed and a longer shower curtain can help prevent less water from spilling onto the floor.
Location perfect. Parking is odd and would prefer they give guests a curfew. You have to get out of your car all the time and ask reception to open.
Room is very cramped, somewhere a TV was on until late at night, was very disturbing, but overall a very nice and tidy guest house and very conveniently located.

Hydro guesthouse is opposite Mediclinic hospital. It's walking distance from Mimosa Mall. I never used my car. There is a nice big carport. The white linen and towels met my requirements. The rooms are clean. The service is excellent.

Home base for stay at hospital.
The only thing that bothered us was that the TV was positioned so you can't watch TV from the double bed, and when we moved the bed, all four legs fell out (we informed the cleaner before we left), but the TV's location is probably not going to be a problem for other guests. Overall, I will be returning to Hydro Guest House again and I would definitely recommend it.

The guests next door were just terribly noisy from 03:00 in the morning but Hydro cannot be blamed for that. The mattress is also very hard, but otherwise everything is fine.

My husband was at Mediclinic for an operation and it was very convenient to be able to walk to the hospital during visiting hours. My daughter (age 8) also enjoyed the fact that Mimosa is within walking distance. The unit is well equipped and has everything you need for the time you stay there. Thank you for the friendly reception and service.
Everything was effortless. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious. It was cold outside, but we slept warmly. We could buy breakfast at only R70. Parking was safe and easily accessible. Reception was friendly and very helpful.
