26 guests' feedbackWe had a wonderful time at Hyenas Call. The viewing deck is unbelievable and the accommodation is very comfortable. Everything worked, and the kitchen is quite well stocked with appliances. Trudy kept us up to date with any sightings and municipal issues, so we were always informed and could make the most of our stay. Staff on the premises are also friendly and super professional. Thank you for an amazing stay!
The platform is amazing.
Had everything we needed. Even a potty and flat-bottomed iron pot, towels, enough cutlery to have friends over. Lovely fans and air conditioning in every room. Nice bathrooms. Space outside for the children to play and a nice big swimming pool that was kept clean every day and the porch was swept.
We had a lovely stay there. Was received very kindly. Everything you need is there. The view from the deck and porch is an absolute bonus. Will definitely visit Heynas Call again.

Location is awesome. Houses with better furnishings available. Stayed in Marloth before and will do again, but would rent an alternative place. The deck is awesome, but would rather rent a double storey house that could prove more practical, like the South Post just higher up in the street.
Would be nice to be able to sit around a fire pit.
It was great to be so close to the river, and the rooms and patio were spacious and well-furnished. The viewing deck was a fantastic feature and much time was spent up there, however having hurt myself after one of the steps having snapped when I put my weight on it (and almost falling to the ground), I would strongly suggest that more care is taken when inspecting the deck and steps from a safety point of view.
Clean house and comfortable lapa and braai area. There is only one kitchen sink and 2 small taps, which is a bit of a frustration. The bedding could be better.

The covered braai area with the swimming pool is an absolute winner and that the river can be seen from the yard is heavenly. The viewing platform is breathtaking with the view. We will definitely return again. Absolutely perfectly located with everything you need. A piece of paradise.
Hyenas Call is beautifully located on the Crocodile River with an exceptional observation deck that can see far and wide! The house was cozy and the reception and help from the agents was very friendly. The third room is just off the main house with its own facilities, would have liked to have known this ahead of time. Always special when animals come to eat!
Hyenas call is very neat and overlooks the river. The lookout tower is very nice, unfortunately you can only enjoy it in the morning and dusk, because it gets really hot there and there is nothing to give some shade, we would recommend an umbrella or something to be able to sit on top. The price is mainly for the high seat and it was quite overpriced for us. Also because we had cockroaches in the house. The photos are accurate except for the pool. The waterfall was not on. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 days we had construction works next to us which was quite disruptive. I would have appreciated being informed about this. At the moment there was no WiFi, it was communicated before. Considering all the points it is overpriced for what you get. We have stayed in several places in Marlothpark and we were a little disappointed.

Very friendly owners. Both houses are perfectly equipped for a short or long stay, as well as very neat and homely. The deck is definitely the highlight of the place. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a great stay, accomodation was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We saw so many animals from the patio as well as the local wildlife calling around. A memorable stay, thank you, we will be coming back.
It is located in the perfect location. By the river, with a beautiful view of the Kruger Wildlife Park! Place was clean and tidy and the people who received us were very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend the place!

Neat, clean accommodation with covered braai facilities. Something special that Hyenas Call offers is the 13 meter high private deck overlooking the Crocodile River and Kruger National Park. Who needs a TV when you have that view!
Fantastic location at Hyenas Call overlooking the Crocodile River. The pool and the look-out platform are gems. Kudu and warthog visit every morning. Close to KNP Crocodile Bridge Gate.
Trudy and Colin are amazing hosts, the house was cosy and clean with everything needed inside, the best feature of the house is the tall lookout tower.
I can really recommend Hyenas Call to anyone who just wants to get away from the hustle and bustle! It's the ideal place to just unwind.
