The accommodation was nice but we had problems with turning on the appliances that were needed and also there was a poor signal but other than the less we enjoyed the stay.

Firstly, our host exhibited a hostile and unfriendly demeanour throughout our stay, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere. Upon our arrival, we encountered issues with the electricity, as it was running at a low capacity. Moreover, it began beeping early in the morning the next day, disrupting our sleep and overall comfort. The accommodation itself is ill-suited for a Family of 6 adults and 1 child, I let alone 10 adults or families with older members. With only 3 bathrooms available, we were disappointed to find that there was only one bathroom equipped with a shower, while the others had either a bathtub or lacked essential amenities. Furthermore, the state of the kitchen appliances was subpar. The fridge had a broken door, resulting in food items freezing inside. The oven and stove were impossible to use, adding to our inconvenience. To make matters worse, the kettle in the kitchen was leaking and sticky, which posed a safety hazard. The couch in the living area had a tear, which detracted from the overall appearance and comfort of the space. The bedding provided was old and stained, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. It would have been preferable to be informed in advance to bring our own linens. Additionally, the carpets throughout the accommodation were visibly stained and unclean. Despite the potential beauty of the location, our enjoyment was marred by the extremely polluted water. Instead of being able to appreciate the picturesque view of the water and mountains, we were forced to keep the windows closed due to the foul smell and the sight of dead carp floating in the water. Overall, our experience at this venue was far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend it to others, particularly to friends and family seeking a pleasant and comfortable retreat.

Would love to see instructions somewhere on how to use the stove. Wanted to make oatmeal at 6:00 in the morning but couldn't get the stove on, and didn't want to call the owner that early. On the website it says full DStv, but we had to specially ask for it to be switched on, where we were then told to give 48 hours notice. Then the website can't advertise full DStv. At least we could watch DStv on Saturday night. Bath towels smelled a bit musty, and were not of a good quality. Would rather bring from home.
