14 guests' feedbackThe house is neat and clean. All the staff are friendly. The site is very neat, well maintained and there is so much to do. The mountain routes are very well marked, there is an "obstacle course" and cycle track for the children, there is a large pond to swim in. Enough wood is provided for barbecuing and making a fire in the fireplace.
The surroundings are too beautiful and the hosts are fantastic!
The road is tough in a van or SUV I would suggest, but other than that it was very pleasant.
The is a place for people-people, the place is beautiful and bathrooms very comfortable. Would recommend for campers.
The ablution block is just far if you use the lower stand. It is a bit dangerous to go to the toilet in the evening. Not well lit at the stairs. No railing. The ablution block is inaccessible to the elderly and the disabled. Furthermore, the break was worth it. However, the Cherry Festival was a very big disappointment.
Everyone there goes out of their way to help, with a smile. Thank you very much.

We really enjoyed the weekend at Imla guest house! It might be wise to mention pertinently on their advertisement that the "budget room" is a backpackers and to mention that there is a private bathroom for the room, because that is not the case. I also think a small heater would be a good addition to this room - it's cool! The staff at the guest house are particularly friendly and have gone the extra mile to help where they can and ensure that our stay is as enjoyable as possible! The stoep and restaurant area where guests can sit and visit has a wonderful atmosphere!

It was absolutely fantastic! A farmhouse of yesteryear with today's luxuries! The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night but that will be rectified as we are planning a long weekend there! It was just absolutely beautiful and peaceful and we will definitely go again!
We were received so warmly, the hostess was amazing. She made us feel so at home, food was attractive and tasty prepared. The room was luxurious with warm blankets and a fireplace in the room. Truly a star! The view of mountains and the stretch on the front porch in the late afternoon winter sun with a glass of fresh cherry juice. Would have liked to stretch out longer. Do yourself a favor if you are traveling in the Eastern Free State, visit Imla Guest Farm. Will go again next year, just stretch out longer. Thank you very much Michelle.
Very nice, but if we can make a suggestion then we would like to ask that the roof lights that are in our room can be closed in some way with screens, shutters, or something like that. The sun shines directly on the bed and is very disturbing on the white sheets! In winter it should be very nice, but not in summer and especially not when it is 38 degrees plus. A swimming pool is also just that: a pool. But I still had a good swim! There was a problem with the bill that at first too much was asked for, but with the poor reception taken into account, an apology was very quickly made and it was also rectified. We all make mistakes so wasn't a big deal for me. See you soon on my motorcycle!
The self-catering lapa was originally designed and furnished for large family gatherings. About 20 minutes drive from the guest house on a massive working farm. Very friendly reception and care by the owners. Lovely view of the Malutis. Piles of cooking and eating utensils in the kitchen. Rooms are well appointed with en suite bathrooms and coffee/tea/biscuits. Swimming pool, snooker table and farm activities as well as kilometers to walk/cycle. Extremely suitable for outdoor families who want to cook/grill/pour themselves and then be surprised because the dishes are washed for you in the morning. If you find something to complain about here it is only because it is in your nature.
