The place is just enough for what you need there and it's very nice when the goats come to visit us! The surroundings are just as nice with the shops and restaurants!
The house is lovely and we had a great time. The swimming pool is just big enough for a welcome break in the heat. The kudus and blue wildebeests came to visit every evening and we fed them game pellets, they just ate out of my hand, which was delicious. The only point of criticism is that the unit does not have air conditioning and in the severe heat we are currently experiencing this is actually a necessity and not a luxury.
I would recommend it, but I also advised the lady who cleans to consider some additions, such as a spade to clean the braai area, a cage for bin bags, and maybe a storeroom to store the braai grids and prevent rust.
Stayed well. Many animals.
Real Bushveld type house.
We had a nice time. Amenities are good. Swimming pool is an avalanche. You do hear a bit of traffic from the main road but it didn't bother you too much. Suggestions: mesh in front of the windows. The bugs were a lot of trouble. The place is clean and tidy but it won't cost much so that all the glasses look the same. It's nice to open a cupboard and the dinnerware looks the same. We missed a grater. Drinking water has to be bought but it is refilled very cheaply. Dish soap and soap are provided in the bathrooms. It was very handy. The showers and etc work very well. Arrangements around key collection could be better communicated. The living room sofas are newer than the ones in the photos. We had a good time.
Lovely little place with everything we needed. The splash pool is fantastic for the hot days. Louise is an angel! The wildlife had a great time with us. If it had air conditioning it would have been even more excellent!
Comfortable for 4 persons. 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen. Close to the exit gate when going to Kruger Park but still quiet and private.
There were only a few problems we encountered when arriving at the house. We were not informed where to collect the keys for the house, if it was not for the lady cleaning the house we would not have known where to go. There is no cupboard to store your food items in, and we saw a mouse in the house trying to get into some of our food stuff, we had to store some of the food in our vehicle so had to lock up the food in the main bedroom when we went to the Kruger Park during the day. We did not know that the geyser is switched off when nobody is staying there, only discovered this when we wanted to go have a shower, had to wait for the water to heat up before going to shower. Tried to contact the owner Mrs. Otto by phone and sms when we arrived, but to no avail, still have not heard from her to date. Please see if you can sort out these few problems, in spite of these problems our stay was very nice and relaxing.
Absolutely too much for the place. Swimming pool water runs out. I will never go back again.
Had a nice stay. Perhaps more information about the park can be placed in the unit as it was our first visit.
The house could do with air conditioning. The fans helped a little. House full of cobwebs. Refrigerator leaks water. Not very clean. The house has potential. Lighting required at braai area outside.
We definitely recommend Impalas Walk. We travel a lot and it was such a surprise to find such a clean and neat place. Well equipped and tidy, everything in place. Only stayed one night, but we will definitely call again.
The house is new and beautiful. Each bed has just one thin comfortor, so you need to pack an extra blanket or two for winter maybe. It was a very nice weekend!
