The service in the restaurant is very poor, shortage of staff. On Friday the waitress was so route to us, maybe is because of exhaustion. They knock-in from seven in the morning till closed, they get exhausted. On Sundays they close early. Imperani Restaurant should hire more staff or work with the casuals when they have functions. But the place is beautiful, nice and quite.
Accommodation was very neat and comfortable. Restaurant offers a nice menu. Noisy residents in the early morning hours were happily addressed by the guest house.

The guest house was super neat, and very modern. Still, our family felt a void in terms of "warmth". Instead, it seemed like the guest house was too commercialized, with many units giving the feel of "apartments". We enjoyed the pool in the warm weather. We only stayed one night as planned.
Chef made an effort to serve me with the most delicious lamb chops as well as pork chops for my wife! The waitresses are really nice and attentive, the rooms were very neat and hospitable. Would prefer if there was a small fridge in the unit to keep our things cold. Lovely place, would definitely recommend! Thanks, it was worth it!

There were guests drinking up on the deck all day and making more and more noise. Their children were playing around the pool and screaming right in front of our porch. Rooms 8,9 and 10 have a corridor directly behind the rooms where workers talk loudly and walk up and down until 22:00.

Imperani will always be my first choice in Ficksburg. Rooms are comfortable and the beds and pillows are of excellent quality for a good night's rest. The bathrooms are spacious and modern and the whole resort is luxurious and beautiful and tidy. Can recommend it anytime.
We stayed at Imperani before and I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone. You don't have to ask for anything more, everything is on one premises. We want to book at Imperani again for the cherry festival. 10 out of 10.
Very accommodating and welcoming. We were attending a wedding in Clocolan and had various requests regarding rooms and check in and all our requests and needs were met with ease. Lovely place, clean and neat. Good facilities. Excellent service.
Great accommodation, very tidy, good facilities, nice visit.
On arrival at about 14:00 our room was still not cleaned up, the next day when we returned from our trip at about 14:45 and the room was not cleaned up again. We had to wait outside for it to be cleaned up. The Saturday evening when we got back at the premises there were no parking available. We had to run around organising parking. Sundays breakfast was a disaster, Monday morning it was better. Clients should be warned about the functions hosted on the premises, as the venue is just behind some of the rooms and it is very noisy.

I would definitely recommend Imperani Guest House to anyone looking to stay in the Ficksburg area. Imperani has an awful lot of accommodation facilities so I can imagine it works well for weddings or special events. Our room consisted of a king-size bed, wardrobe, TV, bedside tables, large mirror as well as a coffee station perfectly rounded off with bathroom containing shower, toilet and sink. The place is really very cutely laid out and there is even a small table and chairs outside the door where you can sit and chat on the common porch. Parking is also relatively close to the rooms so it's not too much trouble to carry the luggage back and forth. Right outside the room was a koifish pond, small lapa with chairs and tables where you can have fun. The pool, "Cocktail bar" and restaurant are also located nearby which was very convenient. The restaurant has a large menu with everything from seafood to salads. I had no complaints during my visit and will definitely use this accommodation again if I am ever in the Ficksburg area again.
I booked the best but got average. No number on home. Wi-Fi doesn't work. Heater in bathroom not working. The place needs a manager who knows what's going on!
