This Karoo gem literally has everything in place that we needed. Warm bed, hot water, barbecue equipment, equipped kitchen with microwave, large fridge, easy chairs and TV, and Karoo-friendly hostess.
Everything you need in the cottage, and you can walk around the town from this location.
Slept great and loved the Karoo plains across the road. Cottage was well equipped.
Everything was neat and clean. We stayed licks.
At the time of our visit, all mobile phone systems were down. Owner made an effort to send someone to us with a message when the children were looking for us via landline and she was not available to contact us herself.
Nice clean town and had a nice meal at Manna's.
A bit difficult to find place, hostess was very descriptive where to get key.
Will stay there again, owner was friendly and clear with us on WhatsApp. Recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised - the self-catering is neat and has everything you need for an overnight stay. Privacy - which we rate highly was especially pleasant.
Our hostess went out of her way to help us; Karoo feel with clean yard and in-character furniture; street view of the Karoo field; fantastic dining recommendation; home-baked rusks by the kettle; electric blankets; nice and fresh bedding; neat bathroom. It was a perfect, value-for-money overnight stay for us on our road trip.
Enough safe shelter for the vehicles, everything needed for cooking, a nice bed to sleep on. Just what is needed to stop over peacefully on the way to the Western Cape from the north.
On the surface, Williston area is clean.
Absolute value for money. Comfortable and neat.
We could not complain about the cleanliness of the apartment. It was cold and the electric blankets helped. The TV didn't work but wasn't a problem for us.
