54 guests' feedbackWe had a great stay and will definitely go back again anytime. The people are friendly and the place is amazing.
The cottage we stayed in was amazing. All together you stay on a small island surrounded by natural beauty and water. The road to the site is a bit rough. I would recommend that one use a tall vehicle. But it's all worth it. Thank you very much Inkwazi, it was amazing.
Inkwazi is definitely the destination if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately, there were guests in one of the other units who disturbed the tranquility with off-road motorcycles that raced back and forth past Eagles Nest on a daily basis.
There are a lot of fish, it's incredibly beautiful. Would have liked it if the cottage was more equipped such as a microwave oven, steak knives etc.
Nature is beautiful and peaceful. Had a great time and caught fish.
Well equipped with more than what is needed to be able to visit comfortably.
We could not make any contact with the owner, called 12 times but got no answer. The GPS took us to the farm next door, there are no signposts. Accommodation and dam in front of the house had been fine.
Surroundings are so relaxing and beautiful, the animals on the farm are so tame and the horses are a sight to see. The caretakers of the farm are lovely and amazing people very friendly, down-to-earth, think they deserve a pay hike and their son is so kind and took such good care of my boys. Just one thing, use a car that has a higher clearance or a bakkie, it's farm road, other than that it's awesome, coming back again.
My two dog-boys and I had a great time at the water house. A whole new experience. As someone who went alone, I never once felt unsafe. There is everything you need in the house. Many thanks to Jasper who really went out of his way to make sure everything was ok. Would recommend the place to anyone who wants to disconnect from WiFi, TV, radio and just enjoy nature.
Very nice view and very safe, loved it.
Nice quiet and safe place to relax like a family or a group of friends. Nature and fresh air - definitely what anyone from the city needs!
Very helpful, lots to do on the farm.
We had a wonderfully restful and quiet stay here.
When you go to Inkwazi you should not look for luxury, but you should be serious about reaching a place of rest, the great value of the place is that nature surrounds you, it was special to often hear the call hearing of the osprey and seeing it hovering over the pond in search of a catch, seeing the colganese playing at the outlet of the pond and hearing the marsh lorikeet calling from a hiding place somewhere and where are you going to get another 2 kg -bass can be caught from your living quarters after opening the sliding doors over the pond. Danie and his staff's help, especially on 3 occasions when we got stuck in the mud due to cyclone Eloise which dropped 500 mm of rain in the area and subsequent rain which made the repair of the road not possible, was there for us to return us safely to Pretoria. I could write a lot more but I think you have to experience the place yourself.
Really a place where you can relax wonderfully. Make sure you take enough to eat and drink. Thanks to Danie who came to Naboom on Saturday and bought us a few things! There are no shops nearby. Road was a bit ugly due to rain. Otherwise we had a great rest! Beautiful view from the house on the water. The place has everything you need. If you are afraid of frogs or mice, stay at home instead. And if you're looking for super luxury, go to a fancy hotel instead. It's nice in nature and neat and clean. Definitely our type of outing as a family! Will definitely go there again!
Had a great time, will go again. Good bird life. It's not 5 star, but has everything you need.
Nice rest, and a beautiful setting, but unfortunately the place is in "dire need" of TLC. One of the biggest problems was the road to the farm, definitively only for vans and other "high clearance vehicles". More cattle farm than "Game Breeders", unfortunately did not see any game on the farm.
I would not recommend Inkwazi.
Dit was die lekkerste lekker.
Very well located. The perfect place to rest. Many types of feels to identify. The dam is amazing and there are Bass in the dam. I did lose one but I know there are bass in the dam.
Road is extremely bad in places for a sedan. However, the tranquility, clean environment, beautiful view and starry splendor at Eagle's Nest made us forget about the stress of the bad road, until we had to drive back again. The boys loved the wooden house on the water. Huisie only has the essentials, and the smell of the toilet is something to get used to.
Although the garden and surroundings were well maintained, the sitting room and dining room were not cleaned. The jacuzzi was not working and we would have liked to have been informed of that as we were looking forward to using the jacuzzi. We packed swimwear and towels and didn't use them. Two of the rooms' bath taps could not be turned on and we had to share bathrooms with the other guests. This was also not mentioned to us when we enquired, and we specifically asked for it. Inkwazi is a great place to visit and relax as a family, just a shame that the maintenance is not up to standard. If the maintenance is done we will definitely book with Inkwazi again.
Quiet, clean, friendly and away from everything and everyone. We had such a nice rest and will definitely be back again in 2020. Fishing kept us busy, the carp kept us busy, and only wish we could catch some carp too. It was great to watch the goats walk over the bridge in the evening and listen and watch the osprey early in the morning. Furthermore, it was great fun.
Very nice getaway for couples. Quiet and very clean. Can recommend it to anyone who wants to relax for a weekend and just wants to have a quiet stay in the Bushveld.
We will definitely go back for the peaceful atmosphere within a little over two hours drive. No unpleasant surprises. Basic, clean and tidy.
We would recommend this place to anyone.. If you like fishing, quiet and nature this is the place to be! Inkwazi Game Breeders will see us again!
It was so peaceful. There is a variety of bird life. The place was clean and we wanted for nothing. The manager welcomed and greeted us kindly. I recommend it.
Beautiful scenery, relaxing.
From the moment that we checked in until the moment that we left, we were spoiled with everything that was happening on the property. Luzaan and her co-workers made us feel at home at all times and involved us with what was happening on the farm. We didn't feel in their way for one moment. Thank you so much to the staff. Will definitely go there again.
Been there for a second time, excellent breakaway.
We had the most incredible time. Luzanne and her husband very friendly and made our visit very pleasant. Would recommend Inkwazi Game Breeders to anyone who wants to get out of the city and just relax.
The house on the water is furnished with only the essentials. There are nice warm blankets for the cold evenings and accommodation is practical with no luxuries. A television for the cold evenings when hubby is out fishing would be nice. We rested and relaxed very well. It's our 3rd time visiting Inkwazi and it's nice to see how the game species increase on the farm. Could grill nice meat and watch wildlife.
Very nice environment and friendly people.
Great place to have fun with your friends!
A spot where you can spend quality time with your significant other.
Nature lovers will love Inkwazi. There are farm animals as well as wildlife.
We had an incredibly nice stay at Inkwazi Game Breeders. The call of the osprey every morning and the foxes in the late afternoon was so refreshing. Our hostess was very hospitable. However, visitors must bring their own water.
We had such a wonderful time on the farm - going for game drives, bird watching, canoeing and braaing under the stars. The farm is really peaceful and a great place to relax away from the city. We will definitely go back there!
Thanks so much Inkwazi. We were 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 babies. The facilities were fantastic and the area is great if you want to relax, view game, row on the dam, and there is space for games. It was an unbelievabl experience. Words cannot describe. Just a pity we couldn't stay longer. Will recommend Inkwazi to anyone.
Inkwazi is beautiful and peaceful. Value for money.
Directions and signs to the farm could improve. We stopped infront of the gate and still didn't know if it was the right place. A regular car will get you to the place, but you'll need a 4x4 if yoiu want to drive around on the farm. But what an experience it was! Super peaceful, refreshment for the soul. The dam chalet is a must. You have the island for yourself. Equipped with all the necessities and clean and neat. Wish I could've stayed a bit longer.
Lovely farm and area to take walks. Loved Nikita the Cheetah.
We stayed in the dam chalet and it was lovely. Peaceful, nature is beautiful, and as animal lovers we enjoyed the horses and other animals. The highlight was Nikita the cheetah, fantastic to get in touch with him. We were friendly received and looked after by Luzanne and Benji. Will definitely go again - thank you.
Refrigerator inadequate for the size of the facility. Box freezer very convenient. Linen and towels may be replaced. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful farm and bonus that you can drive around with your own vehicle.
Service is awesome! Very nice and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ideal place for large group of people. Just needs a small splash pool!
Inkwazi Game Breeders is ideal for family getaways. Beautiful scenery and spacious units with plenty of places to visit and braai. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The road to Inkwazi is the only thing I can comment negatively on. Benji and Luzaan go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Beautiful place and you can clearly see the stars.
Eagle unit on the water is wonderful and unique. It's nice to wake up in the morning with the pond around you. Provision for cool parking for your vehicle would be very welcome.
From the moment you arrive there are two things you can't escape from: flies and open toilets. The flies are everywhere. Where you want to cook, where you want to sit, where you try to brush your teeth, where you eat. Cattle and goat kraals nearby, so there's nowhere to escape. Then there are the toilets (bathroom facilities). Maybe I am weird but I thought having a door between the bedroom and the toilet is standard. Not at Inkwazi. No door, no curtain. Nothing except the lovely view of the toilet. There is an outside unit if you are embarrassed to ask the person you share the room with to leave so you can use the facilities. A few other this also bothered us, but if the above doesn't put you off, the little things won't either. Sorry, but I cannot recommend Inkwazi unless you plan to visit in winter and hope there are less flies, and just one person per room so you can use the facilities.
It's far away enough to relax completely, the quietness and tranquillity is exactly what we were looking for en exactly what we found. The owners were unbelievably friendly and helpful. We stayed in the dam chalet, we loved it and plan to return - this time for longer!
Luzane and Benji are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Everything was beautiful, clean and neat with whatever you might need. Nikita, the cheetah, is friendly and completely tame and it was an experience to get that close to this beautiful animal. We will definitely be back and this time with family and friends. Thank you for the game-drive, the best hospitality and a lovely weekend.
I loved every minute of it, will definitely be going back there again
Great value for money, everything you need on one site and just for your group. The cheetah and red cat keep watch in the evenings and security is top notch. There are 3 layers of electrical wire when you sit in front of your fire in the evening. You can leave your small children to run around and they will most likely not come across anything. The drivers are very helpful and everything is clean. It's not the Ritz but if that doesn't bother you, you'll be very comfortable and peaceful. Large kitchen with everything and a deep freezer makes self-catering easy. Free wood and free horse rides! All I could complain about is that 2 cold water taps didn't work, one in kitchen and one in middle room but the kitchen has 3 sinks so who really cares? Oh, and the oven door doesn't close 100%. But we're going to braai anyway! Will visit again in the future. "Off the beaten track", so take your bakkie, "double cab" or whatever, but if you drive well then a normal car will get you there.
The place is cute and very peaceful.
