23 guests' feedbackWe enjoyed ourselves as friends; everything was on point.
The stay was very pleasant. Currently a house is being built opposite the place and it has caused a lot of noise.
It was amazing, great and clean place, value for money as animals are always around and it's an amazing location.
Yes, but there are too many rules.
We had a wonderful stay at Inkwazi Place, the house was more than we could hope for.
Had a great time despite the bad weather conditions, lovely woodland spot! Lots of animals that come to visit the unit - children thoroughly enjoy it! Building work adjacent is the only inconvenience, but of course beyond the control of the owner.
Very nice stay. House is very well furnished and tidy. Many animals come to visit the house.
Very enjoyable stay. All the amenities were adequate and we did not lack anything. I would suggest providing more than one roll of toilet paper per toilet if guests stay over for 4 days.
The inside of the house is amazing, so much room for everyone! I would, however, make a few recommendations. * Given the size of the house, ensure a big enough rooster to braai or inform guests upfront. * The braai area is very close and directly below the stairs and underneath the spotlight - considering a small boma in front of the stoep area and the water hole would be great. Then you can allow the guests to actually sit around the bush fire under the stars. * There is a lot of building development in Marloth currently - across from this house, they are building a new house - this is not something one can control as an owner - but I would suggest that you inform your guests upfront that there are builders across the road, which influences the animals coming. * I would also recommend increasing the price per night and already including cleaning services upfront daily - this will allow the home to stay in a manageable state, especially when you see guests that have kids coming with.
The house is very neat and spacious. There are many animals that come to visit the house, make sure you buy enough wildlife pills. Everything worked without any problems. Had a great stay and will definitely go again.
The animals were on our doorstep every morning. There is no load shedding. It was very nice.
We loved Inkwazi. It has a great "in the bush" feel. Neighbours are far enough to have enough privacy. The house had everything we needed and they took special care with little things, like supplying toilet paper, dishwasher soap, rubbish bags etc for the first 2 days. The inverter was an absolute winner!! Wilma and her team were amazing with all communication and feedback. The only drawback of this fantastic place is that sound travels a lot through the house, so if you are noise sensitive and are coming to rest, this is probably not the place for you. Despite that, would love to visit Inkwazi again.
It was very nice to wake up to animals.
Inkwazi Place was well equipped, child friendly and definitely on our list to visit again. A small gate blocking the pool for children will make a big difference. May not be permanent like the usual baby gates that are available for sale. But otherwise it really is a fantastic place.
It is not the most luxurious residence, but we enjoyed seeing the animals every day. The pictures make it look slightly better than it is. The kitchen cabinets are not built in and look untidy and unfinished. The sink is hopelessly too small, but at least there is a dishwasher.
I stayed with my daughter and her family at Inkwazi Place from 25 March to 30 March 2023. Neat and comfortable house and with all the necessary equipment. Many animals came to visit the house daily and the children enjoyed feeding the animals with the special food offered for sale at the shop - it can cost you quite a bit of money, but the experience of it is 'priceless'. There is also a well maintained wading pool for the hot days and it was a great experience. The access route to the house is currently very poor and needs urgent attention - the whole of Marlothpark's streets are in a terrible state. It's very unfortunate and will definitely put a damper on prospective visitors. Otherwise, the visit was definitely a wonderful experience.
Excellent communication, security and the house is amazing. The location and surroundings are fantastic.
Thank you Inkwazi Place for a fab holiday - lovely home with everything we needed!
The 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom allowed for privacy. The dishwasher for a big family is very convenient. Location is great, we had a lot of animal visitors. Is also just a short walk to the river.
Most animals we have ever seen in Marloth at a place to stay. They just need to sort out the alarm system. The battery must be replaced, because the alarm system overpowers if there is load shedding.
It's a very nice place to visit among the animals, but is quite basic equipped. Nice for eight people, four bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom.
Absolutely worth it.
Inkwazi has everything needed under one roof. Neat rooms, and well-equipped kitchen. Lots of animal traffic past the unit; kudus, zebras, blue wildebeest, giraffes, warthogs and more. Night owls made their appearance every night. Easy walk to the river side and lookouts. Had a great stay.
