Old Homestead Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in a 5-bedroom self-catering lodge, situated on the Invermooi Angus Stud farm in the foothills of the Drakensberg, 25 km outside Nottingham Road in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The Invermooi Estate offers a tranquil country setting with panoramic views of the Drakensberg mountains, where guests can enjoy a peaceful getaway from the city. Invermooi Estate offers 5 lodges and 3 rondavels, conveniently situated around the estate giving guests the privacy they require.

Old Homestead Lodge is tastefully furnished and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a lounge, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The main bedroom in the lodge contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin. The third bedroom has 2 single beds and the fourth bedroom has a queen-size bed. These 2 bedrooms have access to a shared bathroom with a bath, toilet and basin. The fifth bedroom is a rondavel that sleeps 2 guests in a double bed.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave for guests convenience. The lounge has a smart TV with Netfix, Wi-Fi, and a fireplace, ideal for those cold winter evenings. The lodge also offers braai facilities.

Invermooi Estate is a premier trout-fishing destination, and the estate offers many dams and 8 km of river frontage. Set on a working farm, this is the ideal spot to enjoy the countryside with birds and wildlife in abundance. The local Nottingham Road Village has much to offer, including many restaurants, pubs and craft shops. Other activities include fly fishing, hiking and mountain biking.
