There is a well-known restaurant within close proximity of the house as well as many other activities such as a waterpark, shopping centres, game farms and the Crocodile gate to the Kruger National Park.

House rules
- No smoking in the house, only outside.- No loud noises are allowed. A fine of R3000 can be fine by Marloth Park.
- Only switch air con on with bed time.
- The gas geyser in showers and in the kitchen provides that there is always hot water with an electricity interruption.
- No glasses or bottles are allowed in the splash pool.
- Please use water sparingly in Marloth Park.
- Please always close gliding doors to prevent snakes and spiders to get in when nobody is looking. Windows must also be closed at all times when guests are not in the house.
- For the same reason only widows with sifting in front can be opened, also to keep monkeys and baboons out.
- If you follow the rules above you will enjoy the bush house.
- A set amount could be taken of the deposit if dishes are not washed and the black bags are not placed in the wire cage at the entrance. This is what the cleaning services company ask to do.
- This is a self-catering house, no daily cleaning services.
- Washing liquid and dishcloths are provided, as well as black bags, a broom and a mop.
- Bath towels and swimming towels are available.
- A picnic basket is also provided.
