5 guests' feedbackPlace makeshift. Windows didn't close properly. No hot water in bathroom sink. Towels - odd, ragged and not absorbent kitchen area next to bathroom and above bed. Microwave in good condition. No breakfast.
Photos more beautiful than the place.
The neighborhood is horrible, neglected, dangerous and dirty. Drug dealing takes place openly on street corners. It is full of lovable characters and speeding taxis. The room is small, cupboards and bathroom dilapidated. Poor quality. One single rock hard small towel with a big hole in it. No heating, mats and one chair has dirty spots on it. Coconut hair thin hard pillows, one thin blanket, one thin duvet. Gross. The security gate cannot close and the glass door's lock just closes. Can't pack anything in the closet. It's really nasty. Everything looks dirty. Food also poor quality. Very small kettle. You have to stop here.
I had an altercation with the owner because I paid the full amount beforehand. They wanted me to pay R500 and sort out the matter of the refund with TravelGround. I had no idea that paying the full amount was wrong because I do it all the time. I am a peace loving person and this ruined the whole experience for me. She decided to give me back the money and sort out the matter with TravelGround instead. She was gracious enough to apologise as well. Please sort out the issue of who gets what amongst yourselves and leave us to enjoy our stay and leave amicably. Thank you.
