Very nice place to stay. The place was just really dirty. Linens were clean, but cleaning people came in on Friday. Not cleaned boma's braai at all, not wiped or mopped at all. Showers were not cleaned either.

Need soap in bathrooms and kettles in the rooms. Some cupboards and drawers were dirty. On departure day, staff arrived early and were "in the way".

All the bathrooms neat and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. Very good braai facilities as well as space for a campfire. The children really enjoyed the pool. Just around the corner from Johannesburg and Pretoria but feels pure woodland, we saw a lot of wildlife too.

I booked a weekend at Isilwane Bush camp from abroad. The camp itself was clean and a home from home. There was nothing that we could fault. Also had an amazing game drive with Albert. We were a large group with small children and all thoroughly enjoyed swimming during the day and camp fires and BBQ at night. Highly recommended!

Great weekend away with big family. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Lapa with fire pit drove away the cold. The goats that come to drink water against the wire were a bonus.

We had been a large group of people, with 3 children under 5. The children took their bikes with them and spent the whole day exploring the farm. The large table under the lapa is ideal for board games, and the very latest "beer pong" game, nice in the cool that you don't leave. The family room is ideal when the adults still want to visit, but the children already want to sleep. It's right by the hangout area. The fact that the family room does not have shower/bath facilities did not bother us at all. We simply shared with the nearest chalet. There is a guest toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped and newly redone, even with black pots and a dishwasher - which is incredibly handy. There are more than enough plates, knives and forks. Just take a few tupperware bowls with you for leftovers. The rooms are also completely separate from each other, although the description makes you understand that you are sharing a chalet, each room has its own entrance and nothing is shared. The rooms are spacious, and have built-in wardrobes as well. We are very excited to return again in the summer, and then use the pool! Always remember to bring cash for the Dinokeng Conservation Fee. R20 for children R30 for adults. They do not have card facilities. I would recommend Isilwane to anyone. Karolien was very friendly and hospitable. See you again soon!
