Loved every minute. Would definitely recommend.
Island View Villa is a fantastic place. We enjoyed everything about the house. it helped a lot that each room had its own bathroom. Will definitely want to go there again in the future. The owner is also very friendly but he doesn't bother the holes either, seeing that he stays on the top floor. It was a pleasant weekend!

Owner Willem and dog is friendly. I forgot to ask the Wi-Fi password though.
It's a really nice place. Good and secure, not far from taking rides.
We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The accommodation was spacious. The kids spent the whole weekend in the pool. The TV room with the recliners was my favorite space. I am definitely going back.
Even when the owner is on the top floor, we could still listen to music, drink, and enjoy ourselves. The only time you see him is when you check in and out and when you need something from him.
The photos on the website definitely do not tell the whole truth. The place is much bigger in real life. Upon our arrival we were kindly met by the owner and he took us on a tour of the villa. It has three floors and we had the middle and ground floor at our disposal, but the middle floor was more than enough for all of us. Even though the owner lives upstairs, he never once invaded our privacy or complained about the children's noise during our stay. The place is very large and is equipped with everything a modern family needs including DStv, Netflix, WiFi, two large flat screen TVs, an indoor braai and a swimming pool on the balcony. It is also 100% equipped for "loadshedding" with a gas stove and each room has a "rechargeable" light. The place is clean, tidy and very stylish. Definitely a winner in my books!
We just had a few problems with hot water whenever we wanted to bath or shower because the water was never warm when we wanted to use it. Took a long time before getting warm because the geyser was running on a timer and also we had to take the kids to the beach because we couldn't use the heated swimming pool also because of electricity but otherwise we enjoyed our stay at Island View Villa. it's a beautiful place. Thank you.
Place is equipped with most things, pool could not be used, kitchen is very small, crockery is limited, not enough hot water, owner is friendly, could enjoy the rugby.
The pool was not functional, otherwise, it was lovely.
