Was very comfortable, spacious and safe. The shower needs to be sealed, and the water filter leaks to the floor.
Very quiet and peaceful, ideal for a short period of time. Delicious breakfast and very good service. Relaxation.
The room was small but tastefully furnished, clean and neat. The lady at reception was very friendly and went out of her way to resolve a query we had. I will recommend the accommodation to anyone who would like to stay over in Tzaneen.

Everything met our requirements. It was very nice. For just an overnight stay, the perfect place.
We had a great stay, thank you. We were 3 persons in a family room, and it was cozy. A bit cramped but acceptable. Bathroom light blew in early evening (bulb packed up) - pitch dark and hard to function. In the room, floors were sticky and dirty, not acceptable. There is no staff available to help carry luggage. We had an elderly person in our midst, and stairs to get to the room with luggage was a challenge.
Floor was greasy. TV didn't work. Room 26.
It was acceptable. We literally just slept there.
Good option for overnight stays, as well as for family of patients in hospital.
I was so pleasantly surprised with this stay! The room was clean and tidy, it was cleaned every day with new towels. We inquired about what there was to do around Tzaneen because we had not been there before, we were simply informed via WhatsApp of what there was to do. We also simply WhatsApped about what breakfast was there, and there was immediate feedback. We even bothered them late at night. The breakfast was delivered to our room every morning and it was so tasty and fresh! The stay was definitely a winner! It made our engagement weekend even more special! Thank you Ivory Tusk Lodge!
A very clean nice place to stay with very friendly and efficient staff.
My only complaint is that the fan speed could not be controlled. It stayed at the same setting no matter which speed I set it on. The TV's reception was very bad ─ the picture was not clear.
On arrival they could not find our reservation. I had to call the website to sort out the mess. The first thing they asked was how much I paid for the accommodation. Even though I gave them a reference number, I literally had to go into my bank account to show I paid. Mercy, I felt like a criminal. My daughter had to sleep in a dirty bed, there was still a pizza mark on the bedding and crumbs. The next morning we couldn't even enjoy breakfast, there was simply no one to help us. We brought the poor service to their attention.

Very good service. Staff was friendly. Rooms clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone.
Showers have no hot water. Showers overflow in the rooms.
Breakfast could have been a bit better. We got cooked eggs but would have preferred fried. The rest was just fine. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us so we could braai, etc. Pleasantly surprised.
The staff was very friendly. Just opposite the hospital entrance. So summer walking distance. Just needs a bathroom rug.
A few small problems that irritated me. But not bad, had a peaceful rest.
Service is terrible. Bed light in the room didn't work and I was asked what I want them to do. Bathroom was very dirty and you were scared to use it. But you have to wash. Buffet meals are not worth the money. Food looks like it is old. Wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.
Linen and towels were clean. Room was always celan. Coffee available in room. Friendly, helpful staff.

The stay was satisfactory. A few suggestions I can make, it would be good if there could be an information sheet in the room, so one could know exactly what to expect. The beds are really very uncomfortable. A microwave for each room would be a great asset.

I do reservations for the company and my people refuse to stay there as there is a cockroach infestation.
The pillowcases were wet, just one towel in the room for two of us. The bathroom floor wasn't clean. The shower was old and not up to standard. Breakfast was good.
The sheets and towels had dirty marks, which was gross. There was also just one towel to dry your body, even though I booked for 2 people. The shower was also not properly cleaned, so it was a bit gross.
Staff is very friendly.
The place is nice but it needs to include some refuse bags in the rubbish bins & a bar fridge at the least. Enjoyable stay otherwise.
Reception staff totally incompetent. Booking not finalized. Room's air conditioner did not work.
We slept "leaks".
The toilet seat was loose. The shower looks dirty because the old tiles. There were no coffee and tea facilities in the room. There was a kettle. The cold water faucet at the sink is a problem. The sink was loose. But otherwise it was quiet & the service friendly. Directions to get there from Polokwane are a problem. The signs do not indicate arrows. It also has a nice view of the town.
A lovely place, with a few improvements it could be fantastic! Proper directions to Ivory Tusk was not given in the sense of a roadside advertisement indicating where to go when you enter Tzaneen from Polokwane. A direction-board will be helpful at the new Mall's entrance. There is no security entrance to the facility, hence anybody can enter the premises as they like. We stayed in room 41 and found a kettle and mugs but no sugar, coffee, tee or milk. There is an aircon and TV in the room but we were never told where to get the remotes. We were three persons sharing, but only one towel available. A suggestion would be to fit more towel rails in the bathroom. Otherwise a very nice stay.
The rooms only lack a small fridge to keep water and soft drinks cool. Attention must be paid in the bathroom. The shower is leaking, the hot and cold taps have been changed, the toilet handle is broken and the sink plug is not holding water in the sink.

I find it extremely bad to arrive at your destination after a long journey and walk into a dirty place where there is absolutely nothing to make you feel welcome.
