22 guests' feedbackEnjoyed the soaps and vanity kit in the bathroom. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The pillows on the bed were of very high quality.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Really good accommodation, plus an excellent restaurant, which made the stay that much more peaceful, hassle-free and enjoyable.

Definitely not 4 star as stated. The place is dirty and the bedding, pillows and towels are of low quality. I will definitely not come here again.
Door loadshedding not light in the room at 16 hours, dark, in summary: big disappointment!
Staff very helpful and friendly. Have a nice breakfast. Bed comfortable. We come to Ermelo a lot and it's the first place we see cockroaches, so not very clean. The place doesn't smell good either. Definitely not 4 star status.

In some respects, such as the restaurant, a pleasant surprise. Otherwise not exactly what the main photo and description of facility in particular suggests.
Very nice place. Good value for money. Will go back again if I'm in the area. Only thing I can complain about is that the entrance at the back gate is very sharp and they need to fix that. My car scratched the bottom when I drove out.
Our first apartment was inadequate and dirty, with missing kitchen equipment, once reported, known by the housekeeping staff. We were moved to another unit with old and worn appliances.
I would definitely recommend it to others, although the negative is that there is no fridge in the rooms. It is very noisy with the trucks driving past the lodge throughout the night.

When we arrived in broad daylight, there was no one at reception. The car guard who "received" us was able to give us a key after 40 minutes of struggle. Not even so much as a fan in the room, let alone air conditioning. The person who gave the place a 4 star rating needs to get their head read. Drink prices were definitely influenced by the 4 stars, ridiculously expensive! When we left reception was closed again, luckily there were people busy at the restaurant to whom I could return the keys.

It was lovely to sleep over there, we plan to do it again within the next 3 weeks.
After a long day on the road, arriving at a place that made you feel welcome and safe was very reassuring. We were impressed with the neat and clean accommodation. We didn't use the restaurant or breakfast because we were at a wedding and visiting with family. We will definitely want to stay here again in the future.
We stayed here 1 night. Rooms were ok. We had 3 rooms. Unfortunately in 1 room no hot water. Restaurant before dinner and breakfast was fine.
Izimbali was beautiful to us, the decor in the dining room is lovely and the bedding and room spotless. However, the noise from the trucks passing by is very annoying!
