We had a nice stay in the Protea Room. The unit was clean and tidy and had all the necessary amenities. Muriel was very helpful.
It was such a nice surprise to be treated so well. Muriel went above and beyond caring for your needs! The water beside your bed, the chocolate on your pillow, mints, rusks, coffee machine, every little detail made you feel special! The decor was beautiful and very modern. Thank you, Muriel, for always checking that I have everything I need - and so hospitable! 10/10!

If I could give the accommodation 6 stars, I would! It has everything you could ask for or need and more! All the additional treats, extras, and hospitality by the host were beyond what I have experienced before - the decor is also exceptional. I regularly drive between Piet Retief (Mkhondo) and Howick, and the accommodation will certainly be on the top of my list for a midway stop. I recommend the accommodation to anyone! Safe, peaceful, and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We were surprised with the cute place, ideal for a stopover. The room is very comfortably furnished and also has very nice decor. Large lovely garden with plenty of parking if you might be towing a trailer. The room is at the front of the house with its own entrance from the porch. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Everything is new and good quality, e.g. linen and aircon are big enough to cover the total area. The room is bigger than I expected from the pictures.
Host went out of their way to assist me. Very impressed with the hospitality.
Will definitely use the unit again. Neat and great service.
