We had a great stay. I would just like to have access to WiFi next time for those few rainy days, but other than that we were very happy with the spot.

It was an enjoyable stay. A pity they didn't tell us that they are still doing maintenance on the building. They happened to be right outside at our flat. A banging, grinding and noise most of the day. To make matters worse, the neighbour also decided to upgrade his flat at the same time. He did apologize for the inconvenience. Needless to say, we tried to be in the street as much as possible.
Just a nice place in a perfect location. For us a home away from home!

The apartment is well furnished with everything you might need. Very neat and cute. Just a suggestion the cushions are really not good quality, if you could maybe replace them. We will definitely visit you Jakaranda 17 again!

Only 1 drawback, the complex did not have a pool.
The building is well-situated with a lovely view of the sea. There is a large lawn with a play area and 2 access gates (key or keypad - convenient when going to the beach). The apartment is comfortable. Cons: There is a long inventory that you have to check when you arrive and you have to pay R30/day extra for DSTV or take your own card - you get mailed about this after booking. Check-in is easy with a code for the gate and a key box next to the office. The microwave broke while we were there but the owner did find a microwave on loan by the next day.
The parking was a little bit difficult to get into, but we would definitely go there again.
I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Jakaranda 17.

Thank you very much for hosting us. We were up early every morning and we were spoilt with the most beautiful sunrise views and whale and dolphins. It was fantastic.
The apartment is located within walking distance of the beach and is very comfortably furnished. We had a great time and will definitely go back again.
Would really appreciate it if there is a standing fan, the roof fan doesn't help the heat at all. The beach there is very nice, with main beach just down the street. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening and looking out to sea. Nice vacation spot.
The location is very good and you don't have to drive to go swimming. Apartment was good and meets the necessary requirements. Maybe just a suggestion to look at the living room set's pillows and sofa bed. Maybe needs a little attention, but otherwise everything is good.

Jacaranda was definitely value for money. We enjoyed our few days and will definitely go back! There were no errors. I would like a stand alone fan. Drying cloth and possibly something to scrub the pans clean with. A sponge will do. The sea view from the room was so nice!

It is a well equipped unit with everything you will need. The beach is really walking distance, shops for bread and milk are not even 5 minutes away. The only negative point for me is the limited amount of power points. All you need to take with you is a very long extension cord for the rooms as there are no accessible power points for hair dryers, radio alarm clocks, razors or mobile phone chargers. You have to plug all that stuff into the kitchen.
Everything was well organized and so close to the main beach, we will return for sure. Many thanks to Louise the owner.

We had an amazing stay, everything we needed was there and everything was clean when we arrived, we are lifelong customers of Jakaranda 17, we didn't want to go home at all.
Very nice unit with beautiful views of the ocean however it could do with a air-con or at least working fans as the weather can really be hot and uncomfortable in the evenings.
Although it is a clean and tidy apartment, it was definitely not cleaned the day before our arrival. Dirty things were visible on the floor in the hallway and kitchen and the bath was not clean either. However, attention can be given to the cupboard, stove, oven (the lower part of the stove was on the floor) and the fridge's freezer (drawers are broken and haven't been defrosted for a long time).
We had a great stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone. Thank you very much for the good service and quick feedback on emails.

The place is a relatively old block of flats, but inside everything is nice and pretty. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Something that was strange and uncomfortable was that there was this obsession that cleaners weren't allowed to wash dishes.
Jakaranda 17 is located in the right spot, it is walking distance from Uvongo Beach and has the perfect view. The apartment is very modern and neat. Thank you Jakaranda for a nice time of rest there.
