I can only speak highly of Janmar! Everything was perfect and more. The hostess pays attention to fine details to ensure that her guests enjoy their stay, such as tissues, milk, fruit juice, chocolate on the bed, purified water, etc. is provided. I felt so at home and would not spend the night at any other place in Bloemfontein again. Janmar is the best!

Janmar is a lovely guesthouse. It is incredibly neat and clean and very conveniently located near the N1. It was a great night's rest en route to our destination. The owner was also very friendly and accommodating, and very helpful. Will definitely recommend.
We stopped over for one night on a long trip. Due to travel weather, we were significantly delayed and only arrived late to check in, but encountered no problems. The service was friendly and professional, the accommodation was safe and immaculately clean. I will make use of the accommodation again when the opportunity arises.

I recently visited Janmar for the fourth time - three times with my wife and daughter(s) and once for a few nights during a work visit to Bloemfontein. Apart from the fact that the accommodation is impeccably tidy and more than adequate, Marian and Jan are the type of people who go out of their way to make sure that their guests are comfortable. We look forward to our next visit.

We stayed 1 night on our way to the Kruger. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom were very neat and clean and well equipped. The accommodation is easily accessible from the N1. (Unfortunately we were there during the load shedding period). The owner has made provision to reduce the noise from the main route by installing double sliding doors, but we like fresh air and you can't get that unless you also hear the noise. However, we were received very kindly and hospitably and a reservation was made for us at the nearest restaurant where the food was excellent! So we would recommend this place to stay anytime. Just close the doors and sleep on the lovely beds!

Tot decaf koffie, nog by geen ander gastehuis gekry nie. Die kinders het die hot chocolate waardeer. Beddens slaap heerlik! Beslis die plek om te bly.

I stayed at Janmar from 5 - 12 December and all expectations were fully exceeded. Everything was absolutely great from start to finish - the room was neat and clean and tidied up every day with clean towels and a lovely little surprise waiting for you. The air conditioning and ceiling fan provided welcome relief after long days at the NSC branding center, as did the lovely, luxurious bath and shower equipped with a bench. I was also very grateful for the free, fast WiFi. I experienced absolutely no problems with security - parking is secure behind a gate with a remote control, rooms are equipped with a security gate and "panic button" as well as a safe in the closet. Marian is an unsurpassed hostess who undoubtedly has the interests and comfort of her guests at heart and is more than willing to go the extra mile. I can't wait to enjoy her delicious breakfast on my next visit. I definitely recommend Janmar to anyone who needs accommodation in Bloemfontein. You will not regret it!

Warm welcome, safe parking, the units are very neat and clean and well equipped, nice braai place and meeting area. I would definitely like to stay there again. Although the guest house is close to the highway and you can hear the traffic, they have made an effort to make the bedrooms fairly soundproof.
Janmar is very neat and clean, the garden pleasant, not a single thing out of place, very easy to find, you don't have to drive into town, very ideal for an overnight stay or even longer. The manager/hostess is charming and very helpful. Also don't think because the guest house is located next to the highway it's a problem, windows and doors are double insulated and it keeps sound out, we slept great, we highly recommend the place, glad we stayed there . Parking was also very safe.

The peaceful and stylish unit that greeted us at Janmar is an oasis where you want to stay! The only thing they need to get 100% is air conditioning in the rooms. It's just too hot in summer nights. You have to sleep with the door open for coolness and then mosquitoes bite again.
