On the N12, yet quiet. The trampoline and swimming pool were well received after a long journey. The honesty bar and braai packs were so convenient! We really enjoyed our stay!

The accommodation was excellent and everything you need for an overnight stay with 2 teenagers. WiFi, aircon, DStv, barbecue and load-shedding were not a factor as Jasfontein has solar panels. I will definitely stay there again in the future.
Jasfontein exceeded our expectations. It is modern, very well maintained and incredibly neat and tidy. Nicolene's attention to detail is phenomenal. It just added to the wonderful experience. We enjoyed walking around the neat and tidy farm to see what they do.
Location is excellent, on the N12 between Victoria West and Beaufort West, on a farm. Stayed there 2 times on the way to the Western Cape. Very quiet, beautiful area. Inside is everything one needs for a quick sleepover.

What a lovely prepared home. Everything we needed and much more. Beautiful rooms with crisp linen. Barbecue fire was already packed, barbecue and side dishes, on request, ready in the fridge. We stayed like kings and our sheep dog could enjoy the lovely lawn.

The owner Nicolene has been an exceptional host ensuring open communication to ensure that we have a pleasant stay. The cottage is spotless, and the layout lends itself to you having a warm and pleasant break on such a long journey. I will recommend this at any time as a stayover for long journeys. The surroundings are just so peaceful, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The goodies in the honesty bar were just great and allowed us to relax when we stepped into the cottage.
The facilities are very neat and clean, nice unit and decor. Everything one needs is provided by the management.

It was a lovely experience after a long drawn out journey. Tasteful, comfortable clean apartment with everything you need. The braai pack, the ready-packed fire place in a sheltered stretcher was truly a big hit for a weary traveller. The friendly and helpful service and the hospitality of the owners definitely make one plan for a quick longer visit in this beautiful environment.
We had a great time and the children had fun swimming and jumping on the trampoline. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. We received a very warm and friendly welcome.
Stayed twice in December. Very tidy, well equipped, with a cold one waiting in the fridge. Bitterly delicious braai packs available with wood already packed for braai. Right next to the N12 and traffic can be tricky. Can definitely recommend it.
Jasfontein is opposite the N12, unit is clean, beautiful decor, well laid out with everything you need. Hospitably received and our small dogs were also accommodated. Wholeheartedly recommend it!

We always drive past Jasfontein and this time decided to sleep over ─ what a good choice! Nicolene is a wonderful host and the unit on their working sheep farm was perfect for our family. It was clean and very nicely furnished. The bed was wonderful and the bedding smelled fresh. The kitchen has everything you need and the braai and salad we ordered was absolutely delicious. Without a doubt this is our next overnight stop in the Karoo.

The modern "cottage" type accommodation is our overnight destination when we go to the Cape. We have stayed over twice and will definitely do so again. Blissful and peaceful with a farm feel.

We really enjoyed the silence of a Karoo farm. It was nice to see sheep and even springbok so close to the house.
We had a lovely stay there. We had two children together, one aged 17 and one aged 19. Both really enjoyed it. We had a great time walking in the field. I would stay there again anytime.

Excellent and very nicely furnished, hospitality very good, traffic was quite troublesome, good value for money. The unit was very nicely furnished and hospitality was above average. The traffic is quite troublesome although it could be greatly improved if the entrance door could be hemmed with some type of "tape".
We will definitely visit Jasfontein Self Care again! The accommodation is extremely neat and gives the home-away-from-home feeling. There is a nice pool for the kids to splash in after a long drive!
