The cottage is completely privately located in a beautiful tree-rich area in a beautiful garden. There's a big milkwood tree at the entrance! The town center is easily accessible on foot. We had a great time staying there when our choir, Vox Cape Town, performed during Fynarts in Hermanus.

If you want to self-cater the kitchen area is small, but with the amount of great eating places in Hermanus, this wasn't an issue.
Great area, within walking distance to shops and the beachfront. Clean beachfront area and great eateries, the village is quaint and interesting. Don't change it.

Friendly and clear communication and reception by Marinda. Unit was very neat, clean and well equipped for self-catering. Very quiet and safe environment with covered parking behind a security gate on the plot. Quality bedding with a good mattress and pillows for a great night's rest. Sufficient gear and blankets for cold weather. Good Wi-Fi even with load shedding. Good provision with lighting and gas appliances during power outages. Would recommend the unit for central location and great accommodation in Hermanus!
Hostess Marinda went out of her way to make us feel at home and meet all our needs, including a lovely gas heater for the cold and sufficient lights for load shedding. Also the covered and secure parking is a bonus. I recommend Jasmine Cottage without reservation.
I really enjoyed the stay in Jasmine cottage. This is a safe area to walk, close to shops and markets and with beautiful surroundings. It was a pleasure to stay here.
Apartment is very private, secure parking and walking distance from Hermanus' town area. We had a very nice stay. Apartment fantastic for stay or business. For a longer period of time we would like more of a kitchen to make food conveniently. Regardless, we would recommend it for sure.
The cottage is exactly what one needs to enjoy Hermanus at a reasonable price. It is central, so most of the attractions are within walking distance. And there is so much to do - the market, walks, Fernkloof, beaches, cycling, art and excellent restaurants. It is spacious and well equipped, and in a peaceful garden. The parking is secure off street, and the area is shaded with lovely trees. Marinda was helpful about Hermanus, and present but unobtrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our second stay in Jasmine Cottage.
We had an amazing stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful. You walk in and the beautifully scented walkway takes you away from the city and into bliss. It's cosy and warm and I definitely recommend it. It's close to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jasmine Cottage. The unit had everything we could possibly need. We also particularly liked the convenience of a cot, car safe under cover and behind gate, private garden with barbecue. Marinda was also very helpful and we could reach out at any time if we wanted to ask something.
We would definitely like to stay here again.

Jasmine Cottage is a lovely place to stay at, with great location and excellent value for money. The setting is beautiful and in a very quiet and safe area.
Marinda was in regular contact with us since we booked, just to check when we were going to arrive. We were very well received upon our arrival. The place met our expectations as it was close to the Race Village of the Cape Epic. Will definitely stay there again.
Everything was just amazing, the welcome from Marinda. The beautiful peaceful place. Everything is so neat and tidy, just what you want. The beautiful little garden outside and all the beautiful inspiring words on the walls. Will definitely stay there again.
Nice place to spend a few a days.
I suggest a larger dishes drying tray as at present the cups and glasses are too large and want to fall out of the tray. This will entail the addition of a small working top, perhaps a folding back type will work. Otherwise, really very nice and will certainly come again. Thank you.
