Lovely area, clean, quiet. Just what we needed.
We were warmly welcomed. The host is very nice and helpful. The place is comfortable and you can hear the sea in the evenings. The beach is a few minutes walk, nice and close! Seeing the blue grebe was great. We are also close to the village, but far enough to experience the tranquility. We will definitely go back again. Definitely my favorite place in the South Coast!

We were in Durban for a 95th birthday, and the flat is clean, comfortable, and safe, as well as offering a beautiful view over the beach and sea. Well worth the stay.
Incredibly good other than no water in the bathroom to take a shower. The mini oven was incredibly slow to prepare a meal.
Place was a bit tight for 6 people. No indoor grill, so a problem if you want to grill when it rains.
There was a lack of communication from the owners. When we arrived, there was no electricity and one rechargeable light that wasn't charged.

Was a great place and highly recommended for the price we were charged. Great location, great value for money, we paid a little for a lot, the owner went above and beyond for us, as she even accommodated our vehicle and large trailer and made sure it was secure, the security is really good and honestly we got great value, and the DStv, full package, great wifi, clean and friendly staff.
What a lovely, easy place to stay, great for parents with a toddler, beautifully serviced, kind and friendly staff, neat, tidy, and clean, and had everything we needed.
Jackie is friendly and so welcoming and the staff is helpful and will come back again.

Quiet, safe, clean.
We had a great holiday. Didn't meet the owners but the helpers were extremely friendly. The only thing that would make us go back every year though would be if there was a swimming pool. The kids desperately want a pool on holiday so that's the 1 and only thing that would keep us away. Aside from the pool, we will definitely recommend the place.
We are very friendly and received with hospitality, neat, clean and very safe. A nice place to visit with a sea view and even a garden and around the building it is neat and clean! Would recommend J&B Beach Apartments any time, cute place at affordable price, neat and clean, make an effort for their guests, also provided us with a "rechargeable" light if power goes out, very safe, "boom" gate becomes 24/ 7 checked. Thank you very much, enjoyed the short time very much. Will definitely use you again.
Best part is lovely sea view from master bedroom. Only thing lacking is light during load shedding.

From the outset, the website staff as well as the management of J&B Beach Apartments treated my unique booking like an everyday event and went out of their way to be of full assistance to me. No query or request is too big or too complicated. The management of J&B rushed to my assistance and received me after hours with the greatest kindness. The apartment is perfect, with all the necessary equipment and nice and comfortable sofas and beds to make the stay there fully rested. The bathroom has a spacious shower and a bathtub comfortably equipped with handles. The stairs have solid strong handrails which made me feel extra safe. There are security doors in front of all the entrances which let the Gautenger sleep in peace. The apartment was cleaned daily with the greatest care. The beach is within walking distance and was neat, clean and peaceful. The vegetation is beautiful and maintained with the utmost care. Because we were there out of season, the peacefulness of the beach was a plus. The area was peaceful and we could use the beautiful to have a great rest. The guards and the gate staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the apartment with the utmost confidence.

Business trip with one night stay over and I so wish I could stay longer. They are so accommodating with the hours of our arrival, with our high demand for 2 single beds. They just always deliver. I will definitely and always use them to do my business trips. WIFI no problems. Load shedding is managed. Apartments are always kept need and tidy. I just can't complain about anything.

I can recommend J&B Beach Apartments with an open heart. I can be quite full of straw and haven't found fault with anything. The reception was warm, the staff are friendly and helpful and the owners came to introduce themselves and said that we should tell them immediately if something is wrong. I will for sure go home there again. You hear the sea all day and night, the train that comes by once a day was wonderful but otherwise it was peaceful with no or little traffic.

Nothing wrong with the unit, or location, it was perfect. A few awkward situations arose. For one, the television is shared with the lodger of the unit next door, and the channel is changed all the time. Furthermore, one afternoon, after 5 o'clock, the security guard decided to wet the grass, while we were sitting and barbecuing, so much so that we got wet and sat inside instead. Besides, it wasn't a bad place.
J&B was good. Service was excellent. Went over and beyond when a clothing item was left behind. Thank you.
