Problem is room 4 is very noisy, you hear owners in house next door TV voices and cell phones.
The guest house is beautiful, clean and tidy. We were kindly received and shown to our room. The room was well prepared for us. Shower and bath facilities were very good. Neat braai area. Nice stay for 2 nights - will definitely return.
The guest house is very neat and well located. Place is clean and has everything you need. Room 1 is right next to the owner's house and the sound of the TV unfortunately comes through the wall and can be quite disturbing.

Shower head sprays too strong and there is no place for your soap and shampoo in the shower and the room is comfortable, and the shower leaks water all over the floor. No soaps and shower caps. The coffee was old and kettle full of ants inside. Parking for SUV vehicles not possible - too small a space. Parked outside.

Jean-Alno Guesthouse is located in a quiet, peaceful environment. The spacious, neat, modern rooms welcome guests with open arms. The site includes a swimming pool - a respite from the Nile heat and has a boma where one can relax in the evening. The owner goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable - with chocolate, fresh milk and breakfast. Definitely a winner!
They went out of their way to accommodate me and I will definitely be back in the future.

Very neat guest house and spacious rooms. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the large shower and bath. Would have liked a kettle for coffee and small fridge in the room.
Pleasant beautiful quiet accommodation. Lovely bubble bath, etc. Parking area can get rather cramped and difficult with a bigger car as one has to drive in reverse. 3 residents in Nylstroom did not know the place at all and I think if people become more aware of the place and more marketing is done they will receive a LOT of guests. Definitely recommended. Definitely see again.
