The rooms are clean, the water is hot and the beds are soft. The hostess/owner is friendly and helpful. For me personally, it is ideal as an overnight destination where I arrive late and hit the road again early. It is also affordable for a family with children. However, I will not go on holiday there, but I don't think that is the purpose of the Lodge.
My people and I were warmly welcomed and had fun calling. Home away from home.

As already told you, the accommodation was very good with a neat chamber with the necessary facilities in a very quiet environment. You only have to make the coffee and tea in a communal kitchen, there is no coffee, tea or a kettle in the room which was a bit of an inconvenience. Furthermore, it complies with an overnight stay. The breakfast was also good with scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, orange juice and whatever coffee or tea you want to drink.
Very nice stay. Go out of their way to make everything convenient for their guests. Rooms very neat, clean and location very good in a quiet place. Not too close to town, but not too far either. Second visit and will definitely visit them again. Many thanks to Jentz and all his people.
The site's cleanliness is not 100% due to new developments on the erf, but you will not find better value for money in Ellisras.

Bathrooms need doors please! Furthermore, it is perfect for an overnight stay on the way somewhere. Fridge and aircon and bed not too bad. Grounds neglected and kitchen only has cold water.
Outside, the surroundings are beautiful and there is parking for every person. My room's door creaks a bit and is difficult to close during the night. Bedside lamp doesn't work either and bed cupboard is not very sturdy. I don't understand how the shower faucet works. It would be nice if there might be a bar of soap on the bed with the towels. Thanks, otherwise there are no errors. Maybe I got the unlucky room. Maybe the other rooms are better.
