There are times when the seaside calls and we need to answer. It's time to soak in the fresh Betty's Bay sun, woken up by the distant waves crashing against rocks. At the back of the house, the breathtaking mountains meet the blue sky right in front of you! Once you go through the well-taken-care-of old rustic house with a well-equipped kitchen, beautiful old enamel kitchen pots and accessories, and absolutely clean bedding and towels, you'll find the old "stoep" with a braai place overlooking the rocks and the stretched beach. It's a feast for the eyes, and for sure, we will be back. A big thanks to Elsa who welcomed us and ensured our stay was flawless. Betty's Bay and Jock's Cabin, you will be dearly missed until the next time!
The location is perfect. The house is equipped with everything you can think of. Everything is comfortable. I would recommend this place 1000 times over.

Busy road unsafe for small children and very noisy at night. Garden/yard at back of house needs an upgrade, as well as the pink lazy-boys in the living room. Very nice view, has everything you need.

The only problem was there was not enough warm water. And the water was not warm enough. So we ended up taking a hand basin to clean up.
The bath must please be replaced, it is not suitable for 2 married couples.
It needs a lot of TLC. We enjoyed the weekend but not impressed with the way the place is, not for that amount of money.
We loved the stay and would go back again. It's a very beautiful house and there is an amazing view over the sea. Would go there again.
