Beautiful and colorful. Warm and cozy. Very nice house, nicely furnished, lots of character and colour. Slept warm and showered, despite the cold fronts.
It was absolutely fantastic! Very clean and comfortable, lovely and welcoming host, and a good and secure location.
Most enjoyable and so relaxing! We relaxed on the stoep and also went for long walks through the nearby orchards and along quiet gravel roads. Beautiful gardens surround the cottage, and they are teeming with birdlife.

I cannot recommend this little spot enough! Suenette was a fantastic hostess and the accommodation was wonderful value for money with everything you need. Comfortable and relaxing break-away from city life.

Would recommend anyone to go and relax there, very peaceful and quiet, especially in the morning.
Surroundings are wide and open and people who like walking will enjoy it. Everything needed is available. Wood and other equipment is provided for barbecuing. You are about an hour and a half away from Bloukransbrug, Stromsrivierbrug and other tourist attractions. Stay was very pleasant.
I booked friends of ours for a wedding, Seunette and Jimmy's hospitality exceeded all expectations. Fantastic, wonderful, most beautiful places to stay. We can't wait to visit again, thank you very much, we will definitely see you again. There is only one place to stay in Twee Riviere and that's at Jolly Roger.
Suenette is an excellent hostess who has beautifully furnished the cottages with everything and anything else.
Owner is awesome, very friendly. Comfortable and neat little house with a lot of rustic charm, short walk to the most beautiful mountain view, pity the view isn't from your porch, but nevertheless we enjoyed our weekend at Jolly Roger.
The Pansy cottage was really just what we were looking for. Quiet, old world, historic atmosphere and comfortable. Nothing fancy but with everything needed to make your stay pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our few nights and would love to go back again. The owners are fantastic and we really enjoyed their company. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you might need. One can discover the surroundings and Twee Riviere village on foot or climb the head behind Kranzig for breathtaking views. We also enjoyed our visits to the paddock. Delicious quiche, lemon tart and road food to shorten the long journey back to the city.
Suenette and Jimmy are a lovely and very interesting couple. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay with them. Will definitely remember this accommodation in the future.
