Very nice stay, peaceful with a very nice sea view and walking distance from the beach and shops. The host received us very kindly and explained everything well. But I would just prefer a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, as well as a small bench or chair that can stand all the time when you blow dry your hair. Also a small table with 4 chairs in the kitchen to be able to eat decently. Unfortunately, the uphill where our van was parked was also a problem - difficult to get in and out of. But otherwise we had a very nice stay. Will definitely go to Jongensfontein again.
We had a very nice and peaceful stay; everything we needed was there. The owner's hospitality made us feel very welcome and is always just a phone call away if we need anything. The view over the sea is very beautiful and getting up and witnessing the sunrise is an experience. We enjoyed every moment.

We are 3 friends traveling together. The stay at Seebries was wonderful. We enjoyed it and the hospitality was extremely pleasant and friendly. It was a wonderful 2 weeks of relaxation for all of us. Everything needed is provided. We have been there for 4 days before and were very satisfied every time. The location is beautiful with the sea right in front of you. I can truly confidently recommend Seebries.
Stay was lovely, beautiful view. Can't find fault. Just a bit dangerous for animals and small children because your parking is very steep, and parking opens onto the main road.
Had a wonderful stay, will only put salt and pepper in cupboards, sometimes you forget about the little things.
We stayed in the one bedroom unit, which is more private than the two bedroom unit, as both units' parking is right in front of the two bedroom unit's porch and braai area. The kitchenware must please updated, the handle of a pan is broken and there is not a complete set of glasses. The sound of the sea is lovely and you can have a nice barbecue while looking at the sea.
Piet is very hospitable and immediately made us feel at home. Our dog, Tau, was also welcome. It rained almost the whole weekend, but the indoor barbecue was a hit and the sea view was beautiful.
We had a great time. The reception and service were top notch. The accommodation was neat and clean, the view was exceptional. Will definitely come here again for a holiday.
We can unreservedly recommend Seebries for accommodation in Jongensfontein. The place is fully equipped with everything needed and even more. Piet and Magda made everything as comfortable as possible for us and the icing on the cake is the wonderful view!
Very nice stay, the apartment is small and simple, but clean and tidy. The roar of the breaking water on the rocks is always audible, the view is exactly like the photo, the owners are very friendly and helpful people who care about the privacy of their guests. WiFi signal is nice and strong, also experienced no problems with DStv and best of all: no load shedding! Owner has provided for it. Thank you very much for a nice two weeks, we will come again.

My only concern was being located on the main road and having to leash dogs for safety, but this was indicated as own responsibility. After 17:00 the traffic calmed down and the workers went home and then they could walk around peacefully.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Photos are slightly misleading as the unit is located two blocks from the ocean and not on the ocean as it appears. However, the view is breathtaking. The unit shares a "dry wall" with the unit next door, which can be a bit disturbing when the "neighbors" come in late and don't mind the noise. The unit is not luxurious, but very well equipped and luxurious in the sense of full DStv and no load shedding! Personally, I think it would make a great base for a summer, sun and sea getaway.

The surroundings of Jongensfontein are quiet and there is little signal or activity. It absolutely forces you to just switch off and rest. Unit No. 1 needs attention and slight upgrading.
The place needs a lot of personal attention. The interior needs paint and the decor an upgrade. How about a gas plate and boiler for load shedding. The unit next door looks beautiful in relation to the one.

Close to the sea and we watched the surfers from the balcony. Able to light a fire for a braai outside and ate dinner while we watched the full moon rise. Has a washing machine which was very useful as we had been on the road several days. All essentials provided at a basic level. The unit is not large and has no indoor dining table, so eat on your lap or do as we did, use the outdoor table. The weather was OK for this, a little chilly in the evening, and I would think twice about staying there in the winter if it meant eating outside. The Wi-Fi was excellent and we were able to video chat with our daughter in New Zealand who had just developed Covid.

SeeBries apartment 2 is a small apartment with a beautiful view of the sea. Perfect for an overnight or weekend getaway. Kitchen is well equipped even if it is small, unfortunately no oven. Bathroom is small with no storage space and the open shower means that the floor and sink also get very wet when you shower. Master bedroom also has a beautiful view. The door that connects directly to the unit next door means you can hear the neighbors. The second room unfortunately does not have a window. The apartment has a musty smell, but that is certainly understandable so close to the sea. Owner very friendly and helpful.
This place has a beautiful view and welcoming owners. The flat was equipped with basically everything we needed. And the coffee table book is just amazing! There are however a lot that needs attention and things that should be communicated to guests before arrival. Attention: The double bed mattress needs to be replaced. Cleanliness - discovered half-eaten sweets behind the bedside table. As we moved the bed, it was also clear that it hasn't moved for a while - the dirt made rings under the feet. (Before writing this review, I read through some of the others and people are consistently bringing up cleanliness). Shower - I understand that chemicals will not be good for the French drain system, but the shower really needs something extra powerful to clean it properly. Floors were sticky (probably from the sea/humidity) - washing floors with vinegar works like a bomb. If guests stay longer than a night, an extra drying towel in the kitchen will be a great advantage. Base covers make a huge difference to how a room looks - maybe consider some for the beds. Communication: The worst thing about the flat was that the second bedroom didn't have a window. If we knew this in advance, we really would not have booked the flat. This should be somewhere in the description of the unit. Getting hold of the owners when we got lost was a nightmare as we didn't have any phone signal in Jongensfontein - it would have been nice to just get a heads-up that we can expect not to have a signal. Sending guests a list of what is available in Jongensfontein will really be helpful. We had to make several trips to Stilbaai for things that were not available in Jongensfontein. We really enjoyed our stay and we can see that this place has so much potential!
Apartment 2 is well furnished, just needs a dining area inside, otherwise you have to use the table outside which is nice, but with the strong wind and rain it is sometimes difficult. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

We were a party of 8 - mostly adults and therefore in the end booked both flats for the duration of our stay. I would recommend the renovated flat 2. Flat 1 needs upgrading especially to the bathroom. Flat 1 also privately sleeps 2 people only. The other 2 beds are in the lounge/kitchen area.
I would prefer a bath and not a shower next time, and there must be warm water all the time, and not just for a week when you shower, and people must be there if there is a problem where you stay, so you can sort the problem out sooner, but with that said it was very nice and we enjoy the view and nature and stay.
I highly recommend another cleaning service, especially for the bathroom. Hair (dogs and people) on the floor is creepy. The bedding and towels were very fresh, neat and clean, thank you. Friendly, helpful hosts. The car park is half on the busy high street and potentially unsafe as there is no sidewalk. We would have appreciated a nice warm duvet for the chilly evening and something more than a candle for reading during load shedding.
Very nice place for a weekend getaway. The view is exceptional and we had a very nice stay at the weekend. A bonus was that we were met with our needs and the hostess was very hospitable. We felt very welcome in the place and will definitely go back there again. 10/10.

Seebreeze (unit 2) is comfortably furnished with everything needed for 2 people who are self-catering. With a beautiful sea view, quiet, peaceful and safe surroundings one cannot ask for more. The walking paths by the sea, cycling opportunities and swimming spots make it an ideal place to relax and be peaceful. The vehicle is parked in front of the apartment, which makes loading and unloading convenient enough. Sea Breeze can definitely be considered when people want comfortable accommodation and a sea view on top of that!

The town itself is so safe we left our car windows open keys inside everywhere we went. Amazing not to worry about that. And the accommodation, best we've lived in. Great location you have a beautiful see view from the room and the living room. Absolutely everything you could need. They really thought of it all. The only very small little critique I have might be that they pay closer attention when cleaning in corners and the bathroom, but that said the place is clearly cleaned and well taken care of. Any issues are dealt with immediately when notified. Will definitely stay again.

Upon our arrival, Piet warmly welcomed us, and immediately made us feel at home in a neat and clean SeeBries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our two four-legged children, the view from SeeBries is breathtaking and especially when the barbecue fire is lit with the blue ocean in the background. The washing machine in SeeBries was a big plus. SeeBries is located in a very safe and quiet area which we really appreciated. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay.

Place was neat, but we couldn't use the freezer, it was so packed that no drawer could open. Owner came to check, tried to open drawers, left floor soaked and full of ice cubes. Nothing further done to it. There is a gas geyser which was not so nice either, then water is boiling and the next moment it is ice cold.
Shower tackled against sides. Both times when I showered, hot water ran out, then I had to turn on the sink's hot tap first to get hot water. In the master bedroom it was not wiped behind bedside tables and bed. Animal hair was lying there. When we stopped there the woman immediately wanted her outstanding money even before I unpacked.
Won't stay there again.

We are not at all happy with accommodation. The people next to us smoked us out with cigarettes. Owner thought it was funny. We drove out early in the morning and packed up and drove at half past twelve and didn't sleep another night. We are non-smokers and the "door" between the accommodations did not help for smoking. Closed noses and tight chests for me and my husband. Not worth R1300. Would think that we can get at least part of money back.

We had a great time at SeeBries and SeeSig. Uncle Pieter and Aunt Magda were excellent hosts. Lizaan who has been doing work behind the scenes, a 10 out of 10 for her too. Will definitely stay with them again if we visit Jongensfontein again. Excellent and safe town to visit. Quiet and safe as we are no longer used to. What a great little holiday, the location was great, we had an amazing view of the ocean and with a super relaxed atmosphere. My favourite part was sitting on the patio with coffee soaking up the sun, watching the ocean and falling asleep to the sound of it. The owners were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting again.

Apartment has everything one needs for a wonderful holiday. The most beautiful sea view with the sound of waves that only makes you sleep even better. We had a wonderful stay, the time was just too short. The host and wife are very friendly and helpful. There are a few things that require attention, but nothing major. The bed sleeps great. For me the biggest problem is the parking which is very sloping and results in you having difficulty getting out of your car.

We really enjoyed our stay. Although the place is small, it is good enough for vacation. Place was neat and clean and if we requested something, eg lamp that blew, the host came to replace it immediately. The only frustration is that you advertise that there is WiFi, but it is unreachable. Instead, remove the reference to WiFi availability from the description. I also just want to point out to future visitors that the second bedroom has no windows.

The view was beautiful and the host and hostess very friendly and helpful. However, the apartment is very old, not 100% clean (the ceiling is very moldy, there were cobwebs, and the bathroom is creepy). The bedding and towels are old, I really regretted not bringing my own! However, the apartment next door has been redone and very tidy, we have recommended it to friends as the location is so perfect. I would definitely go back to the upgraded apartment, but not the one we stayed at.
Although the owners were very friendly and the location so close to the sea was perfect, the dirty interior of the unit spoiled everything. The shower is full of mold and has the dirtiest container for your toiletries I have ever seen in my life! The boiler was full of grease, the cushions were full of grease stains and the whole unit had a musty smell. From previous feedback, people have already complained about the same issues and clearly nothing has been done about it, so don't even waste your time, go stay somewhere else.

Me and my kinkers aged 18 to 27 really enjoyed the weekend, everything needed was there. Customer service was great very helpful and concerned about us pointed out all the nice places and helped where they could. It was just simply a nice weekend. Positive: The place has a lovely location with a nice view and nice braai facilities, working TV and DStv. The place was not properly cleaned with cobwebs on the walls and cupboards smelling very musty. It may not be good for your health. WiFi does not exist or is so bad that there is no reception.
This little place's location is very beautiful. The apartment has a stuffy smell. The bed has only a sponge mattress that had to be replaced years ago. The shower was so dirty I emptied a bottle of Jik in it and could see the dirt running down. Shelves and the counter were full of dust. Fortunately, we just slept there and went to friends by day. Jongensfontein is the most peaceful and safest place I have ever holidayed. Piet and Magda went out of their way to make sure everything was right and we were satisfied. The night life is very quiet so it depends on each person's needs but you can walk kilometers in safety, fish etc. If the house had a small deck where one could sit in the evening/day it would be a big plus point. I will definitely go back to Jongensfontein!
Very peaceful, quiet peaceful area, safe and beautiful. Whales seen jumping out of water. I would personally go camping there again anytime.

I spent the night at SeaBreeze and Sea View and was very, very kindly received. The place was neat and clean and I would do it again anytime. The only problem was WiFi. I received no signal on any of my devices.
What a unique gem of this quiet town. Upon arrival we were warmly received and shown the ropes about the surroundings. Definitely a very nice getaway for a weekend or so.
The place is very well located, walking distance from the ocean.
Our accommodation was not thoroughly cleaned and we had no TV reception despite the owner promising us on arrival that he would sort it out. The double bed mattress needs replacing and the water pressure in the shower is very weak. There is a musty smell in the closets and apartment, even though we opened the windows during the day. By paying attention to a few small things, this apartment has the potential to be a very nice place to stay in Jongensfontein.
Even though owners were friendly, the space was cramped for our family of 4. Luckily there was full DStv. The shower's hot water pressure was weak en the shower head is too low, you can't stand under it. More than one dishcloth in the kitchen would be nice. Bedding was neat and clean, but cupboard had mouldy smell. I washed all the cutlery before we used it. The braai is outside on the sidewalk so no privacy, you can't sit outside and relax. No proper parking. We parked across the road where the surface was more level.
