We slept with overseas guests and was our last guest house on tour. What a surprise. The place is painfully neat and tastefully done. We ordered braai packs and salad and went to the lapa alone to braai that evening. Despite the load shedding, there were lights and everything you need, from lamps to mosquito repellents. We would definitely recommend Jonkershoek as a great place to stay.
We are a group of friends who explore South Africa with old cars (older than 1980 models). We enjoy the rides, but it's sometimes hot this time of year and most old cars don't have air conditioners in them so the nice blue pool and cool rooms and the cutest reception/hang out rounded everything off nicely after our trip from Knysna (sleep every 45km left, so we don't drive continuously) to and on the way back home.

Comfortable, neat and safe accommodation outside the hustle and bustle of the city. We were a group of friends on our way back from the Northern Cape and the braai in the boma was a wonderful way to end our holiday together. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Only suggestion is to maybe replace the plastic chairs in the dining room with wooden chairs.

We were a family of 6 who spent New Year's Eve at Jonkershoek, the rooms are large and very tidy. The boma and braai facilities with bathrooms and combi had been a very nice area to visit for the evening. Breakfast had been delicious before we returned home.
Even if it is on a farm, nothing is missing. Everything is just the best. Due force did not affect us, as they are well furnished. Hostess and staff very helpful.

The barbecue packet and salad we ordered for dinner were quite a lot more expensive than average and this had quite a negative effect on our stay experience. I would recommend Jonkershoek on the condition that guests check prices before ordering food.
