Jungle @ C is a self-catering log cabin located in Trafalgar on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, midway between Margate and Port Edward. The main blue flag beach is just 1.2 km from the log cabin, and is very popular for swimming, horse riding, fishing and snorkeling.
Trafalgar also borders the Mpenjati Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy a picnic, braai, river fishing or do one of the hiking trails. At the cabin, you will often spot visiting buck and other herbivores moving around. Trafalgar beach is a marine, dune, fossil and a nature reserve.
The log cabin is equipped for 12 guests and comprises of 2 main bedrooms, 2 loft rooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living room. The first main bedroom contains a double bed and has an on-suite bathroom with a bath. The second main bedroom contains a double and single bed. The one loft room contains a double and two single beds and the second loft room has a double and single bed with a lovely deck. The separate bathroom has a shower. Please bring your own bath and beach towels.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering. The living area features comfy couches and a full DSTV on a large flat screen TV. The cabin has an open deck as well as a large thatched deck with outside blinds, a large table, a flat screen TV, gas braai, bar area with a large fridge and dartboard. The house is protected by an alarm system, enclosed by electric fencing, and an electric gate motor. Undercover parking is provided for 2 cars.
The entrance to the house has a lovely thatched deck with table and chairs and a ramp for wheel chairs,
In the beautiful garden with two large milkwood trees, two fever trees, flamboyant tree, cycads and protea's you will find a covered Jacuzzi, a splash pool, bonfire/braai area with seating and outside toilet.
The cabin is fully serviced by a trustworthy domestic worker on a daily basis. Washing/ironing, car wash or any other domestic services can be arranged directly with the domestic worker at a reasonable fee.
Trained dogs are welcome but unfortunately no cats. Please arrange with us before arrival.

17 guests' feedbackThomas waited for us and handed over the key and throughout our time there he was very helpful. We could push his button at any time. The house is spacious, clean and tidy. The beds sleep very well and the bedding soft and warm enough. We had a nice shower and bath - the water was nice and warm. We felt very at home and safe.
The house is very nice, everything worked, everything is available. There was nothing we looked for that wasn't there. We had a really enjoyable stay.
Unit is in a lovely area, well equiped, has a few electrical issues of concern and a bit of maintenance needed. Communication and service great.
Many faults on the premises, hot tub only worked on the 3rd day, gate motor did not work, stove-oven tripped power, window glass and bulbs were only replaced after we checked in and caretaker complained nothing was being fixed.
Our stay at Jungle @ C Log Cabin was absolutely amazing. It was over and above what we expected. Great large house with comfortable beds. The outdoor area was great. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi as well since it was winter. The correspondence with Elsie was very efficient and Andrew at Trafalgar was always ready to help or assist when we called. I would definitely go back.

The place has everything we needed. It's a perfect getaway for family to relax and have a good time. It's quiet and private. Would definitely recommend it to others.
Jungle @ C was a wonderful cabin that easily accommodated all of us. We recommend it as a great family destination.
Very nice place to stay! Comfortable for 10 people. Hanging out area was very nice even its own fridge for your drinks and soft drinks! Jacuzzi and pool were nice when we came back from the beach.

The stay itself was not bad, enjoyed the deck and pool, the hot tub worked only when it wanted. The electric fence didn't work at all, the fridge tripped the power all the time so one fridge was down for days at a time, the front steps by the house's door are rotten and full of holes, the wooden deck outside by the back door is rotten and full of holes, when it rains the power keeps tripping, the gas grill can't turn on and off the gas bottle has to be opened and closed all the time. There were a lot of big problems, tried to fix the fridge etc myself. to have it fixed at my expense, but could not find anyone. Notified the owner who was told the fence and fridge would be fixed but nothing happened.
The log cabin was clean and neat. Nice entertainment area with Jacuzzi, pool, outside bar and TV. Also very private but with good security. Will definitely be back!
Great house for a large group of people or a family with kids. Had a great stay. Nice and large entertainment area which we really enjoyed. Wooden house gives a nice vibe. Very close to the beach and shops. Will definitely go back.
Thank you for the awesome weekend. My family had an awesome time. Linde the housekeeper was great. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi, although it took a long time to heat up but had fun in it. The outside bar/lapa area was great. Look forward to returning soon.
We will definitely be back. Great place in a hidden jungle. Linde, the housekeeper, kept the place spotless, and an awesome time was had on both the braai deck, and in the Jacuzzi. Not many places provide 2 fridges and a chest freezer, as well as gas / charcoal braais. TV and DStv was an extra bonus. Will definitely be returning for another weekend soon! Definitely a well hidden gem!
Place is very nice and safe. The Jaccuzi needs repair as it has trouble starting and it kicks out the power.
Two families comfortably accommodated. The Log Cabin was adequately equipped and well serviced by Lindiwe. We enjoyed the attached lapa/dining/bar area - particularly when the weather was very wet!
