My wife and I and our two small children spent the night at Just-B on our way to Kgalagadi. Jacomien welcomed us very kindly at the very neat and modern guest house. We were in the family unit which has two spacious rooms with a modern bathroom. The kitchen has a microwave oven and small fridge and cutlery. There are two single beds in the kitchen-living room and a double bed in a separate room. Each room has a TV. The shower was lovely after a long day on the road. The guest house is in a quiet neighborhood with lovely trees and is located between churches and a school. There is a large shopping complex and car port nearby. We had a very nice overnight stay and will definitely stay there again. Thank you for the kindness.

We slept in an apartment-type unit. Very nice and spacious, our smaller children will also be able to stay there very well, although there are not really cooking facilities. The carport and braai with the lawn and patio are private and ideal. Pity that the air-con is central and cannot be controlled in the unit, and that the bed and doors creak.
It's one's first opportunity to welcome guests and in this the guesthouse failed completely. The bell at the gate did not work and she did not answer her phone and did also not respond to the SMS i sent. We waited for about half an hour at the gate and after the website contacted her she came walking across the street, calmly. She lives right across the guesthouse and lets guests stand in the street and that after she expected us!

On arrival the hostess was very friendly, and the guesthouse was easy to find. I however only entered the room late that evening and couldn't address the following: 1. There were ants in the kettle when I tried to make coffee and had to first wash out the kettle, however at this point my coffee sachet was wasted. 2. The bath's drain was quite blocked and black driftings appeared when one pulled the plug. 3. I realise I'm a light sleeper, but the fridge is so loud that every time it started up during the night I woke up. All of the above are minor things that can be fixed and would make this an awesome guest house.
We experienced the room as too closed due to the lack of a window. Only the sliding glass door serves as a window. The furniture is of good quality and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is excellent. I wish my shower at home was planned like this. So nice stay.
Just B Guest House looks like the English will say: a pop up guest house and I am not lying. It's neat but the warm feeling of a guesthouse i snot there. The "cold" feeling stretches from arrival until you once again put your feet out the gate. The guesthouse is empty with décor and items get lost in the rooms and home, it seems as if it was just carried in and dumped. The extra mile walk with guests are definitely not applicable here, money is the only priority. If you plan to have a peaceful rest, think again, because the location is just as good that you can hear an alarm or something that goes off through the night. We drove all day from Pretoria to Upington only to be told we were not booked in at Just B Guest House even though we had a booking confirmation letter. However, the owner of the guest house did assist us with other accommodation which was very good.
We were a group of 8 of which four were teenage boys. The rate was very reasonable for such a large group. Paying R250 a head for so many people hurts one's pocket, but Just B accommodated us for half the normal rate. Thank you very much, we will definitely stay there again. Friendly people who received us.
Jacomien went out of her way to receive us late at night. She also made an effort to make it as comfortable as possible for us, as we were a group with children and older guards.
