Calming place and a lot of things for my kids to do.
We travelled to Brits for a sporting event. Lizelle and her family were the most amazing hosts, right down to the smallest family member. Such a wonderful place, so convenient and close to town, and yet a "million miles away" when you are relaxing at the venue.
A place for the whole family. Everything is clean and well maintained. Everything you need - and even more to make your visit unforgettable. The unit was fully equipped with everything needed. We were kindly received and treated very well! Will go again and again and again!

We stayed in the Kingfisher and it was very nice and private from the other two units and was close to the pond. Place is very neat and Lizelle is extremely helpful and friendly to make one's time here as comfortable as possible.
Received very cute WhatsApp message ahead of time which gives valuable information. Place to stay very clean and tidy. Lapa area nice for walks and just sitting and watching the animals. The only advice I can give is take your camping chairs with you if you want to sit comfortably around the barbecue fire at the cottage, there are only cement chairs.
From the lapa we saw many animals (Impala (black, white and common), Nyala, Bush Buck, Kudu, Red Duiker, Dassies, Crocodiles and many birds). Hosts showed us a part of the living on a game farm, which was a great experience. They were also very helpful when electricity failed (not their fault) by making campfire, using the braai and providing several candles.
We had a great stay and a good time. Would very much like to go there again. Friendly and helpful host. My adult children enjoyed it just as much.

This past weekend we were at Kaalvoet Koppies for our wedding anniversary. Was pleasantly surprised! Saw a bunch of goats just on the way in. It's really the ideal place if you just want to rest. There is only one chalet and all the facilities are only available for the chalet. So, it's private and you're alone. We didn't want to go home!
Kaalvoet Koppies was a nice experience. Very quiet, beautiful nature, wild life. It is safe, not far from Brits if you need more supplies, and will recommend this place for elderly people that would like the peace and silence. The chalet and lapa are clean and comfortable.
100% Egyptian cotton on the beds. Indescribable nature at your door step. The bird life was stunning! I even tried my hand at fishing. I would recommend Kaalvoet Koppies to anyone looking for a great getaway.

Wow, where do I begin? Kaalvoet Koppies exceeded our wildest expectations! From when we made the booking and straight through to when we booked out after the weekend, the Kaalvoet Koppies team was very helpful. We were greeted warmly at the gate and spoiled with a very delicious picnic basket on the Saturday. The view over the dam was beautiful and the game roam around freely and often come for a visit. The freshwater dam was also a lot of fun and there is definitely fish of all sizes. Even when we had a big rain shower, we were able to sit under the lapa and admire the game. We will definitely go back.
The place is neat and not far from the Rand. There's not much to do on the farm. We enjoyed the peacefulness and goats at the waterhole, but kids can be bored. For the first night after your wedding it's ideal because you're completely alone.
